Gained competence: 1.To apply gained knowledge in theoretical and methodological basic training and professional training of architects, in particular urbanists and restorers while organizing educational process. 2.To apply methods of using the possibilities of different materials (in particular non-traditional and recycled) and also innovative methods and technologies. 3.To analyse the principles of designing architectural and urban objects and restoration taking into account functional, aesthetic and constructional requirements. 4.To orient oneself in modern variety of software and hardware, to use knowledge and skills of working with professional computer software. 5.To use complex methods of full pre-project analysis and inventory and to take into account all important factors in the formation of design concept. 6.To have enough knowledge of fundamentals of economics and project management in the sphere of design services and implementation of architectural and restoration designs, operation of buildings and constructions and their engineering support. 7.To have necessary knowledge to successfully organize and carry out scientific research, write narratives and realize projects in the chosen major and spheres related to “Architecture and Urban Planning” and professionally represent the results of professional activity. 8.To know and understand the academic principles which are the basis of major “Architecture and Urban Planning”, to use innovative energy-efficient approaches, technologies and constructions.
1.To generate and promote new ideas (creativity). 2.To set goals and solve architectural and urban development problems. 3. To take into account psychological peculiarities and motivation of members of creative and scientific teams while solving set goals, to use them effectively both individually and as a team. 4.To use appropriate behaviour patterns while communicating with representatives of other occupational groups, clients, executives and experts in other fields of knowledge and types of professional activity. 5.To apply knowledge to solution of scientific problems of synthesis and analysis of problems in architecture and urban planning. 6.To solve applied and operational, functional, engineering and technological problems taking into account safety and comfort while using objects, including for people with disabilities and mobility impairments. 7.To set goals, to do theoretical and experimental studies and analyse their results and implementation. 8.To estimate, design, explore market trends, to carry out a market analysis, to market new products in building and restoration. 9.To search for information in various sources in order to solve problems in the sphere of architecture and urban planning. 10.To successfully combine theory and practice and also to make decisions and elaborate an activity strategy in order to solve problems in the sphere of architecture and urban planning taking into account universal human values, social, state and production interest. 11.To do necessary research and apply scientific skills in the sphere of architecture and urban planning. 12.To critically evaluate the activity results and in a well-argued manner defend scientific, design and personnel decisions. 13.To put knowledge into practice, to apply methodological knowledge tools, to analyse research findings in the context of existing established and advanced theories, to make appropriate conclusions.
1.The ability to communicate including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and at least one of widely spread European languages. 2.The ability to describe the results of scientific research in publications in local specialized editions. 3.The ability to use different methods including modern information technologies for effective communication at professional and social levels.
