Characteristics of the educational program: Gaining profound theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and understanding of information systems and technologies (IST) to promote social stability and mobility of graduates on the labour market, but will also give them the ability to effectively perform the tasks of the innovative character of the appropriate level of professional activity, which is focused on the study and solution of the complex problems of design, development, integration and testing, implementation and operation of IST in different fields human activity, national economy and production.
Gained competence: – Analyze, compare, evaluate information, explain and justify your opinion on IST issues, including incomplete / insufficient information and conflicting requirements – Be able to communicate in a foreign language in the scientific, industrial and social field of activity – Explain, help, discuss tasks, collaborate with colleagues, end users or management both in writing and orally – Know the principles of personnel and resource management, basic approaches to decision making, demonstrate the benefits of professional development, follow professional ethics – Analyze the state of performance of works in the field of IST, identify sources of deviations, develop and implement corrective actions taking into account the characteristics of performers and organizational needs and capabilities – Determine the needs of the organization in IST based on the analysis of business processes – Justify the choice of individual technical and software solutions taking into account their interaction and potential impact on solving organizational problems, organize their implementation and use – Formulate requirements for the architecture, design, implementation and application of information systems based on the peculiarities of the organization – Investigate various components of organizational architecture (business architecture, information architecture, application systems, technological architecture) – Design a service-oriented information architecture of the enterprise in accordance with the needs of the organization and the capabilities of information technology given increasing complexity, incomplete / insufficient information and conflicting requirements – Develop models of information processes, systems of different classes using methods of modeling, formalization, algorithmization and implementation of models using modern computer tools – Conduct computational experiments using simulation techniques, plan experiments and process their results
– Design and organize the implementation, use and support of intelligent information systems of various kinds based on the analysis of organizational needs and capabilities – Develop and use data warehouses, perform mining of unstructured data to support decision making and forecasting – Develop and implement elements of virtual and augmented reality, the Internet of Things, as well as cloud services in the activities of enterprises and organizations – Plan, organize, implement and control the implementation of information security systems in the organization, using the concept of information security, database security, network security and cryptographic data protection – Plan and implement projects in the field of IST implementation based on the principles, methods and tools of project management, including on the basis of flexible methods of project management – Improve, build and design IST, including ones with elements of scientific novelty and innovation – To draw conclusions based on the research findings, to prepare scientific publications, to participate in discussions, to express one's opinions clearly, to publicise research results and the latest approaches in the field of IST at scientific conferences, symposia, etc – Ability to analyze the objects of information technology implementation, to model processes in distributed information systems and networks, to implement systems projects taking into account the peculiarities of their use in applied areas – Ability to apply and implement technologies for the integration of information resources in the design of distributed information systems using appropriate software – Ability to build models of information flows, to design information technologies of computer networks, using standards of information systems development – Develop and use intelligent information technologies of distributed information systems, in particular on the basis of the ontological approach
– It unambiguously clear and communicates own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to those who are studying.
