Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and professional program is based on public position and results of research in the area of mathematical and computer modeling and is focused on the ability to build and explore complex mathematical models (including specialized) in professional activity; ability to construct and use modern computational methods for study of such models; creation and use of modern software products that are used for collecting and processing information,
Gained competence: - principles, mathematical models and tools for analytical research of real systems and processes, their formal description and construction - effective algorithms for numerical investigation of real systems and processes in sense of calculation accuracy, stability, performance and costs of system resources - methods of statistical modelling and forecasting - methods of computer modelling and systems analysis - theory and modern technologies for construction and administration of computer networks - modern technologies of software development and implementation of numerical algorithms
- construction of mathematical models in the form of integral-differential equations’ systems - analytical investigation of mathematical models of objects and processes on existence and uniqueness of solution - system computer modelling using mathematical modeling methods and tools with procedures of formalized idea of the system - ability to select or develop a numerical solving method, evaluate its effectiveness (convergence, accuracy, stability), build algorithms to implement them in a software application on a personal computer or a computer network, debug software package on similar problems and in case of successful functioning solve real tasks - ability to choose rational and effective algorithms for solving mathematical problems on optimization and optimal control - ability to state the efficiency of computer software, using analysis procedure of stability errors, accuracy, speed and consumption of system resources - work effectively both individually and within a team - ability to design information systems, databases and management systems
- ability to use and apply profession-core knowledge and practical skills in fundamental subjects for the problem formalization, mathematical model development and solving the qualitative and quantitative problems - ability to develop object-oriented models of subject areas by means of object-oriented modeling languages - by using modern technologies, to be able to develop program computer systems based on high-level programming languages that implement algorithms of applied problems’ solution - have a good command of Internet technologies and techniques of Internet-server administration, development and support of Internet informational hub and interactive Web-pages - ability to design information systems, databases and control systems - ability to estimate, interpret and synthesize the information and data - ability to use modern multimedia technologies for visualization of obtained results
