1. Perform economic calculations to establish the cost of scientific activities for individual projects and the implementation of product packaging, creation and production of packaging equipment. 2. Identify intellectual property, conduct expertise, compile and file applications for inventions, utility models for obtaining patents, licensing of intellectual property for scientific and technical purposes. 3. Design, calculate control systems for packaging equipment, technological processes of product packaging to perform tasks, scientific experiments, implementation of modern models of packaging, containers, packaging materials and process equipment. 4. Carry out project management, conduct marketing activities, organize the work of scientific, design and production units that develop and design new packaging technologies and packaging equipment. 5. Make the optimal choice of packaging equipment, automation, packaging and packaging materials to ensure the accuracy of positioning, rigidity, debugging and technological functionality of equipment for creating packaging. 6. Apply modern methods and techniques of research in the field of packaging; solve problems related to the study of packaging formation processes; apply mathematical methods of planning and conducting experiments and processing research results. 7. To make the reasonable choice of optimum parameters, to carry out calculations at designing of technological equipment of packing manufacture and accompanying processes at the enterprises of various direction. 8. To synthesize models for research and optimization of technology of production of packings and designs of the packing equipment, designing of processes of packing of products in the conditions of automatic lines; to carry out by means of programming a choice of optimum parameters of elements of designs of the packing equipment, technological processes of packing; use CAD / CAM / CAE multifunctional software products. 9. Clearly and unambiguously present the results of research and projects, communicate their conclusions, arguments and explanations in state and foreign languages ??orally and in writing to colleagues, students and representatives of other professional groups of different levels.

Ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technology, to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels.
