Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and professional program is based on fundamental postulates and the results of modern theoretical and applied research in the field of management and, in particular, management of customs activities and focuses on the current specialization "Management of customs activities", within which a further professional and scientific career is possible: leader, manager, administrator, specialist, professional in the field of customs activities, teacher of an educational institution. The educational and professional program represents special education and professional training of masters in the specialization "Management of customs activities" within two selective blocks of the professional direction: customs management, planning, organization and control of customs activities. The education and professional program is based on the results of modern applied research of the domestic and foreign labor market in the field of customs management, considers the peculiarities of the customs authorities and customs organizations functioning, their current needs and requirements for specialists in customs management. Provides for the partial teaching of professionally oriented disciplines in English language in the context of modern globalization and integration processes.
Gained competence: - Critically comprehend, select and use the necessary scientific, methodological and analytical tools for management in unpredictable conditions - identify problems in the organization and justify methods for their solution - design effective management systems for organizations - justify and manage projects, generate entrepreneurial ideas - plan the activities of the organization in strategic and tactical terms - organize and carry out effective communications within the team, with representatives of different professional groups and in an international context - demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work in a team, interact with people, influence their behavior to solve professional issues
- To apply specialized software and information systems to solve the problems of managing an organization - be able to communicate in professional and scientific circles in the state and foreign languages - to provide personalized professional development and planning of your own time - be able to delegate authority and management of an organization (unit) - be able to plan and implement informational, methodological, material, financial and personnel support of the organization (division) - to establish, develop and balance relationships with domestic and foreign customs authorities, state control authorities, customs brokerage agencies, transport, logistics, insurance, legal, warehouse, specialized customs organizations in the process of customs clearance of goods and vehicles - identify the costs of customs activities using various methods and approaches, group them by calculation items and economic elements - to optimize customs and tax payments based on planning, control and regulation of the customs value of goods - provide customs clearance and declaration of goods, persons and vehicles - plan, organize and control the implementation of a wide range of customs examination operations - to organize customs control based on the use of adequate methods in order to ensure the lawful movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border of the country - to establish and balance cooperation with state control bodies in the field of customs and tariff regulation of foreign economic activity - plan, organize and control customs brokerage activities
- Reporting to specialists and non-specialists of information, ideas, problems, solutions and their own experience in the field of professional activity - ability to form a communication strategy effectively
Academic mobility: Are absent, but mobility is encouraged and recognized in accordance with the ECTS procedures
