Learning outcomes: -know the methods of analysis and optimization of complex information systems by means of computer simulation; -the ability to choose and apply the methodology and tools of scientific research in the implementation of theoretical and empirical research in the field of computer science and information technology.
Required prior and related subjects: - prerequisites: system analysis, systems simulation, methods and means of computer information technologies; - co-requisites: analytical and numerical research methods, artificial intelligence systems.
Summary of the subject: Methods of analysis and optimization of complex systems in modern information technology, optimization criteria. Methods of systems modeling for optimal spatial distribution of elements of the structure. Algorithms for optimal placement of structural lements in the spatial coordinates.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (30%): control work, Final control (70%): exam.

Learning outcomes: - the ability to investigate and model phenomena and processes in complex dynamic information systems; - the ability to evaluate the feasibility and feasibility of applying new methods and technologies in the tasks of information systems synthesis; - the ability to analyze and define criteria within the subject area, to build models of multicriteria tasks and to be able to solve them, to evaluate complex systems and on the basis of systematic analysis of multicriteria processes that occur in a given problem area.
Required prior and related subjects: System analysis of multicriteria processes of different nature. Modeling, analysis and synthesis of interaction of complex information systems.
Summary of the subject: Information modeling of subject areas. Means of description of information-logical models of subject areas. The theory of hierarchical systems. Coordination theory. Multicriteria optimization. Reduction of multicriteria problem to a generalized criterion. Modeling the logic of decision-making processes using Petri nets. Modeling decision-making systems using Q-scheme.
Assessment methods and criteria: written reports on laboratory work, oral examination (40%) final control (control measure, exam), written-oral form (60%)
