Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline "Public administration in the sphere of ensuring the national security of Ukraine" is the formation in the students of a system of knowledge about the theoretical and methodological foundations of national security and the latest mechanisms of its provision in modern conditions, as well as the development of skills and abilities to analyze the mechanisms and tools of public administration in the sphere of ensuring national security at the local, regional and national levels.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: ZK 01. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ZK 04. Ability to improve and develop professional, intellectual and cultural level. ZK 05. Ability to make informed decisions and use modern communication technologies. ZK 07. Ability to generate new ideas (creativity). professional competences: SK 01. Ability to establish social interaction, cooperation, prevent and resolve conflicts. SK 06. Ability to carry out professional activity taking into account the needs of ensuring the national security of Ukraine. SK 07. The ability to independently prepare drafts of regulatory and legal acts, analytical reports, proposals, reports, provide expert evaluation of regulatory and legal acts at various levels of public management and administration. SK 10. The ability to make reasonable management decisions taking into account issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Learning outcomes: RN 01. To know the theoretical and applied principles of development and analysis of public policy, the foundations and technologies of management decision-making. PH02. To solve complex problems of public management and administration, taking into account the requirements of legislation, to identify legal conflicts and problems, to develop projects of regulatory and legal acts to eliminate them. PH03. To know the basic principles of national security and to be able to warn and neutralize challenges and threats to the national interests of Ukraine within the limits of one's professional competence. PH11. Develop well-founded management decisions taking into account issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, take into account goals, existing legislative, time and resource limitations, evaluate political, social, economic and environmental consequences of decision options.

Summary of the subject: The teaching of the academic discipline "Public administration in the sphere of ensuring the national security of Ukraine" is focused on the training of specialists in the field of public administration and administration, capable of carrying out professional activities taking into account the needs of ensuring the national security of Ukraine, improving public administration with the aim of neutralizing threats to national security and realizing Ukrainian national interests , as well as development, analysis and implementation of public policy in the field of ensuring national security at the state, regional and local levels. In the process of studying the course, students should acquire knowledge about the basic concepts of the theory of national security, the peculiarities of the functioning of the system of ensuring the national security of Ukraine, the principles of the state policy of the national security of Ukraine, as well as be able to warn and neutralize challenges and threats to the national interests of Ukraine in the conditions of Russian aggression, the peculiarities of strategic planning national security, to influence the formation and implementation of public policy, to carry out strategic management of the public sphere in the conditions of modern challenges and threats.

Assessment methods and criteria: The measures for evaluating the results of students' studies provide for the entrance, current, semester control of the results of studies and diagnostics of the acquisition of competencies. These measures are regulated by the Regulation on the rating assessment of student achievements and the Regulation on the organization and implementation of current and semester monitoring of student learning results. Entrance control (diagnosis of students' entry level of knowledge) is used as a prerequisite for successful planning and study of disciplines. It enables the teacher to determine the existing level of students' knowledge and use it as a guide for the difficulty of the material, as well as for choosing the forms and methods of conducting classes. Current control is carried out during seminar and individual counseling sessions of the student; it aims to check the level of assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge. Semester control is carried out in the form of an exam or credit from a specific academic discipline according to the cumulative system and in the terms established by the University. The exam is a form of semester-long final control, which consists in assessing the student's mastery of educational material from a certain discipline in total for all types of work provided for in the work program of the educational discipline. At the University, the form of assessment is an exam, which is conducted, as a rule, in the first week of the semester control.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (PC) - current control (survey at seminar classes) - up to 20 points; - evaluation of an individual practical task - up to 20 points; - final control - exam - up to 60 points. Total for the discipline - 100 points
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
