Learning outcomes: -understanding of tools and strategies related to diagnosing and analyzing the state of development of services for design, installation and operation of water supply and sewerage systems at a level that will allow employment in the specialty, the ability to effectively use theoretical knowledge in the formation and implementation of design services, installation and operation of water supply and drainage systems; - deepening knowledge in the specialization "Water Supply and Sewerage": design, construction and operation of water supply and sewerage systems; rainwater drainage systems; drainage treatment facilities; - apply knowledge to solve the characteristic problems of synthesis and analysis in water supply and sewerage systems; - systematically think and apply creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas in the field of services for the design, installation and operation of water supply and sewerage systems; - apply knowledge of technical characteristics, technological features of product formation and implementation in the specialization of water supply and sewerage; - calculate, design, study market trends, conduct marketing analysis, bring to market new products that are elements of water supply and sewerage systems; - search for information in various sources to solve problems in the field of services for the design, installation and operation of water supply and sewerage systems;

Summary of the subject: Characteristics of water sources. Quality of drinking water. Methods and schemes of water treatment for drinking water. Reagent household water treatment plant and dosing solutions and suspensions reagents. Classification mixing devices. Mixers reagents. Types of mixers and their calculation. Use cameras flake formation, classification and calculation. Defending water. Lighting of water hanging in a layer of sediment. Filtering water. Constructions filters. Water disinfection. Chlorination of water. Water ozonation. Germicidal irradiation water.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current oral examination (30%) • final control (exam): written-oral form (70%)

Summary of the subject: Definition of performance water treatment plant; definition (depending on quality indicators) of water treatment facilities; defining the necessary reagents for water treatment, their number; determination of reagent facilities and storage facilities; selection and calculation devices for cooking reagent solutions; the calculation of basic structures (vertical and horizontal tanks, clarifiers with lift bed sediment, quick filters and contact clarifiers); layout of major components and structures of water treatment plants; drawing up the master plan and altitude schemes.
Assessment methods and criteria: • final control (test): defense of the project (100%)
