Learning outcomes: Students must master the basics of tectonophysics. Elements of tensor analysis to solve problems of structural geology. Be able to collect data in the field for the reconstruction of paleon voltage fields, process them using modern software and present them. Use the results of field tectonophysical research for practical purposes

Summary of the subject: The role of tectonophysical research in the Earth sciences. Principles of solid environment mechanics used in geology. Stress and paleo stress. Stress reproduction. Field methods of stress research. Software for field tectonophysical data processing. Strain of the rocks. Practical use of results of tectonophysical researches in oil and ore geology.
Assessment methods and criteria: • reports on exercises, oral examination, test work (40%); • final control (60% verification event, test): written, oral form (60%).
