Modern Engineering and Geodetic Technologies

Major: Geodesy
Code of subject: 7.193.01.E.033
Credits: 8.00
Department: Engineering Geodesy
Lecturer: Senior lecturer, Vivat Anatolii Yosipovych
Semester: 2 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: Lectures, laboratory work, practical classes, practices, independent work based on textbooks, study guides and lecture notes, consultations with teachers. Written and oral exams, differentiated assessments, defense of laboratory reports, ongoing control.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: 1. Fundamentals of engineering geodesy; 2. Electronic engineering and geodetic instruments; 3. Physic.
Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Modern engineering and geodetic technologies" includes the study of new engineering and geodetic devices: receivers of satellite signals, scanners, trackers, inclinometers, electronic total stations, digital levels, as well as modern engineering and geodetic technologies for creating geodetic networks and geodetic support of construction. In addition, methods of taking into account or weakening the effect of the surface layer of the troposphere on the results of measurements by ground geodetic instruments are considered.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, reference work (30%); • final control (70% control measure, exam), written-oral form (70%).
