Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: to know and apply modern professional standards and other legal documents on software engineering; to analyze the norms of current legislation in the digital sphere; know the sources of legal regulation of IT relations in Ukraine; demonstrate knowledge of the essence of the legal basis for the creation and operation of the Website; show a correct understanding of the rules of copyright and related rights in the IT field; know the features of the legal regime of a computer program and data compilation as objects of IT law; analyze the features of e-commerce; explain the procedure for concluding and the content of agreements on the use of intellectual property rights in the IT field. Be able to make effective organizational and managerial decisions in conditions of uncertainty and changing requirements, compare alternatives, assess risks; collect, analyze, evaluate the information needed to solve scientific and applied problems, using scientific and technical literature, databases and other sources. know and apply modern professional standards and other legal documents on software engineering.

Summary of the subject: The purpose of studying the discipline "IT law" is: mastering by students of the main issues of IT law on the regulation of legal relations in the digital environment, systematic processing by students of legal regulation of electronic documents, electronic document management and electronic digital signature; e-commerce; electronic money and cryptocurrencies; protection of copyright and related rights in the digital environment; computer program and data compilation; contractual obligations in the digital environment.
Assessment methods and criteria: The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale and are distributed as follows: - 40 points - current control; -10 points - written test; -10 points - individual research task / abstract /; - 40 points - the final test
