Summary of the subject: The study of this course provides lectures and laboratory work. In lecture classes cover 14 topics: Introduction, Hardware of embedded systems, Processors of embedded systems, Output devices and actuators of embedded systems, Input devices, Sensors of embedded systems, Methods of designing hardware of embedded systems, Methodology of software development of embedded systems, Software development tools of embedded systems, Integration of embedded systems in distributed computer systems, Comparison of protocols of distributed systems, Examples of embedded systems design, documents of embedded systems. Laboratory works - formation of determined analog signal using PWM, frequency measurement by direct conversion method, Implementation of analog to digital converter, automatic control system implementation, development engine controller.
Assessment methods and criteria: For the diagnosis of current knowledge held control and examination control.
