Lecturer: Ph.D., Associate Professor Harasymchuk O.I.
Semester: 2 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: • Studying, learning and understanding by the students the basic techniques to develop hardware and software for the design of microprocessor signal processing systems in the field of IS; • Know the basic techniques, ways and means of digital signal processing; • Know the principles of design and calculation of digital filters; • Study the principles of construction and operation of the DSP and the BSC, the systems of commands of assembler of those kind of processors; • Training students in diploma projects and works whose themes associated with designing information security systems based on DSP and DPS.
Required prior and related subjects: • Programming Technologies, • Basics in theory of circles, signals and processes in systems of technical protection of information, • Theory of information and coding, • Microprocessors systems of technical protection of information.
Summary of the subject: Introduction. Classification of microprocessors. Variants of architecture. Introduction to digital processors of signal processing. Classification of DSP. General principles of the DSP structure and features of their architecture. Digital filtering of signals. Digital filters. Architecture of family of digital processors of signal processing TMS320C2x of the firm Texas Instruments. Architecture of family of digital processors of signal processing ADSP-21xx of the firm Analog Devices. Architecture of digital security processor ADSP-2141.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control of classroom classes is carried out with the aim of clarifying the circumstances of the educational process, determining its results in the following forms: • preliminary detection of students' knowledge level before classes begin; • current check in the process of assimilation of each topic being studied; • evaluation of the student's activity in the course of lectures and laboratory classes; • checking the performance of laboratory work; • checking the performance of control work; Final control is carried out based on the results of a written control and an oral survey.
