Learning outcomes: - know the concept of information, its types, functions, methods of dissemination, analytical processing; - be able to use communication terminology, including structural elements of communication processes; - understand the concept of social communications, communication models; - be able to manage mass communications, organize information and analytical systems, image and advertising strategies; - have the basics of media management and media planning; - apply social and communicative technologies in international relations.

Summary of the subject: Applied social and communication technologies - a discipline studied by students majoring in "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" in order to provide students with professional skills to monitor, applied analysis of information and communication channels, forecast global and regional processes. Within the discipline, the main focus is on the study of the following issues and topics: Social and communication technologies: prerequisites, classification, goals and objectives. Regularities of application of social and communication technologies in international relations, public communications and regional studies. Mutation and immutation technologies. Applied application of social and communication technologies: psychotherapeutic, information coverage, negotiations, social connections, rumors, image-making, information-manipulative, increase of media literacy of society, digital diplomacy, etc.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Oral interview, discussion. 2. Assessment of written tasks, answers to practical classes (individual task). 3. Test test.
