Behavior And Reliability Of Driver

Major: Cargo and Transport Management
Code of subject: 7.275.01.M.017
Credits: 5.00
Department: Transport Technologies
Lecturer: Ph.D., Associate Professor Bojkiv Мykola
Semester: 2 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: • know the behavior of drivers in demanding driving conditions; • know the regularity and models change the basic parameters of traffic flows considering the functional state of the driver; • be able to explore and describe the modes of motion to road network and its impact on the reliability of the driver; • have an idea of basic directions of development and prospects of practical application of different models motion for assessing the reliability of the driver and to improve road safety on dangerous areas of streets and roads.
Required prior and related subjects: • Traffic engineering, part 2; • Road safety; • Fundamentals of theories of transportation processes and systems; • Supplying information to roadway users; • Effectiveness of transport systems.
Summary of the subject: Role of the human factor in ensuring the reliability the transport processPsychophysiological features of man as a participant of the transport process. Functional status of the driver and its impact on the speed and road safety. The reaction time of man as an indicator of the reliability of the driver. Functional status and its impact on the reliability of driver as one of the components of the system "Vadso". Methods of research of functional state driver. The visual perception of the driver. Methods of determining safe distance car and downloading of road with functional state driver. The influence of parameters the traffic flow on the functional state of the person under different traffic conditions.
Assessment methods and criteria: • writing reports practical work, oral questioning, control work (40%) • summary control (60 %, measure control, test): written-oral form (60%)
