Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation and development of general and professional competencies in the field of development and implementation of innovative information technologies, as well as the development of scientific and research creativity in terms of creating new practical applications of innovative information technologies in various social and economic spheres.
Завдання: Learning the academic discipline involves developing the following competencies in students: General competencies: GC1 Ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of ICT in professional activities or in the process of learning, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations, and is characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements. GC2 Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems in the field of information and communication technologies, including in conditions of incomplete/inadequate information and conflicting requirements. GC3 Ability to use foreign languages in professional activities. GC4 Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues, end-users, or management, express their opinions convincingly on current or future tasks, both in writing and orally. GC5 Ability to perform management functions, ensure the professional development of subordinates. GC6 Ability to assess and ensure the quality of work performed in the field of information and communication technologies. Professional competencies: PC1 Ability to identify information and communication technologies that have strategic importance for organizations or enterprises and can be applied to solve existing, new or potential problems of enterprises, institutions and organizations, as well as manage the implementation of these technologies. PC3 Ability to design corporate information systems, taking into account the peculiarities of business architecture, information architecture, application systems, technological architecture for the integration and synchronization of functional and business needs of the organization with the capabilities of information technologies in conditions of their increasing complexity, incomplete/inadequate information and conflicting requirements. PC4 Ability to develop mathematical models of objects and processes of informatization, develop and use mathematical and computer models in scientific research, using formal system description methods, mathematical logic, modeling, and system analysis. PC5 Ability to develop and implement data repositories, use methods of intelligent analysis of large data arrays to support decision-making in organizations. PC6 Ability to develop and use elements of virtual and augmented reality, internet of things, as well as cloud services when creating and using information and communication technologies in organizations and enterprises.
Learning outcomes: PR01: Analyze, compare, evaluate information, explain, and justify opinions on issues related to information and communication technologies, including in conditions of incomplete or insufficient information and conflicting requirements. PR02: Communicate in a foreign language in scientific, industrial, and socio-cultural contexts. PR03: Explain, assist, discuss tasks, and collaborate with colleagues, end-users, or management in written and oral communication. PR05: Analyze the status of work execution in the field of ICT, identify sources of deviation, develop and implement corrective actions considering performers' characteristics and organizational needs and capabilities. PR07: Justify the selection of specific technical and software solutions, considering their interaction and potential impact on addressing organizational issues, organize their implementation and use. PR08: Formulate requirements for architecture, design, implementation, and application of information systems based on the organization's functioning peculiarities. PR09: Investigate various components of organizational architecture (business architecture, information architecture, application systems, technological architecture). PR10: Design a service-oriented information architecture for an enterprise that meets the organization's needs and information technology capabilities in conditions of increasing complexity, incomplete or insufficient information, and conflicting requirements. PR11: Develop models of information processes, systems of different classes using modeling, formalization, algorithmization, and model implementation methods with modern computer tools. PR12 Conduct computational experiments using simulation modeling techniques, plan experiments and process their results. PR13 Design, organize implementation, usage, and support of various types of intelligent information systems based on analysis of organizational needs and capabilities. PR14 Develop and use data repositories, perform intelligent analysis of unstructured data to support decision-making and forecasting. PR15 Develop and implement elements of virtual and augmented reality, Internet of Things, as well as cloud services in the activities of enterprises and organizations. PR17 Plan and implement projects in the field of implementation of information and communication technologies based on principles, methods, and project management tools, including flexible project management methods. COM 1 Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish). COM 2 Ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at a professional and social level. A1. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions. A2. Awareness of the need for lifelong learning to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge. A3. Ability to be responsible for the work performed, make decisions independently, achieve the set goal while adhering to the requirements of professional ethics.

Summary of the subject: The course is dedicated to the study of modern information systems and technologies, such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Virtual and Augmented Reality, 5G/6G communication technologies, cloud technologies, as well as a range of other technologies. As a result of the training, students will have the opportunity to create practical applications of modern information technologies and innovations in various areas of life.
Опис: 1. The purpose and objectives of the course. Recommended methods for learning and mastering the course material. Forms and methods of assessment. 2. Trends in the development of modern information technologies and the main directions and trends of innovative technical solutions. 3. Development of innovative technologies for 5G/6G mobile communications. 4. Architecture of IoT systems and methods for implementing innovative applications. 5. Innovative cloud and edge computing technologies in modern applications. 6. Innovative software and hardware tools for virtual and augmented reality. 7. Methods and tools for implementing innovative systems based on artificial intelligence. 8. Basics of blockchain technology and its innovative applications. 9. Prospects for blockchain technology and methods of artificial intelligence for their application in innovative IoT-based systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: Laboratory work defense - carried out in an oral format, as a result of which the student must demonstrate the independence of performing the laboratory work and a sufficient level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. As a result of correctly answering all questions, the student receives 5 points. The examination consists of two components: 1) written - carried out in written form and contains questions divided into 3 levels of difficulty. The first level is a test, the second requires a brief answer to the question, and the third requires a detailed explanation and justification. 2) oral - conducted in the form of questioning, where the student answers any questions within the framework of the lecture material and laboratory work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material component, which is contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, ability to analyze the phenomena studied, their interrelation and development, clear, concise, logical, and sequential answers to the questions asked, ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 87-71 points - ("good") is awarded for generally correct understanding of the educational material component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions asked, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, and the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 70-50 points - ("satisfactory") is awarded for weak knowledge of the educational material component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, violation of the sequence of presentation, and weak application of theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not passed" with the possibility of retaking the semester exam) is awarded for not knowing a significant part of the educational material component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-learning) is awarded for not knowing a significant part of the educational material component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to orient oneself when solving practical problems, and not knowing the basic fundamental principles.

Summary of the subject: The course project aims to study modern information systems and technologies, such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual and augmented reality, 5G communication technologies, cloud technologies, and several other technologies. As a result of the course, students will be able to design modern information systems using innovative technologies. The explanatory note for the course project should contain textual and illustrative material. The deadline for completing the project is one semester (16 weeks). The standard time allocated to a student for completing the project is 60 hours.
