Мета вивчення дисципліни: Meta-training of the initial discipline "Electronic imaging techniques in medicine" is taught to students who are familiar with a variety of electronic techniques, which are used for extraction, processing and medical imaging information such as magnification images, tomography, ultrasound diagnostics, etc.
Завдання: Faculty competences of professional directivity: FCP 1.2. The goal is to increase the tasks of optimizing and updating electronic automation systems, collecting, processing, transmitting, saving and displaying information. FCP 1.4. The existence before the fragmentation of technology is the creation of materials from pre-determined authorities and the directional modification of their authorities. FCP 2.1. It is necessary to select and use different methods for processing and analyzing signals in biomedical systems. FCP 2.3. Create and develop current packages of application programs for information support of diagnostic and treatment processes.
Learning outcomes: R15.1. The availability of data bases, mathematical and software programs for data processing and computer modeling of biomedical systems. R15.3. Develop a technical and economic framework for the production of medical equipment and materials for medical purposes, consider theoretical and practical approaches to the creation and implementation of medical equipment.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous courses: Design of electronic devices and systems. Related and subsequent disciplines: Software-controlled hardware of electronic equipment.
Summary of the subject: The program of the initial discipline “Electronic Imaging in Medicine” is designed for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radioelectronics and Electronic Engineering, who are pursuing the specialty of Electronics. The initial discipline is divided in such a way as to teach students to analyze functional capabilities and Characteristics of hardware in biomedical research, understanding daily approaches to registering biomedical signals and imaging, analyzing them and processing them from the basis of data, limitations and possibilities and modification and adaptation to specific tasks of practical activity.
Опис: Basics of visualization technologies. Principles of image formation and processing. Technologies of 2D and 3D visualization. Processing and analysis of digital images. Computer visualization tools. Visualization systems using different types of sensors. Medical applications of electronic means of visualization.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current and settlement control. Knowledge assessment methods: selective oral survey; tests, assessment of activity, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, etc. Assessment is a written survey.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Distribution of points on a 100-point scale. Current control: practical activities - 40 points; control work - 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
