Extended abstract Today, pharmacy is actively developing relatively study and research of medicinal plant raw materials and biologically active substances obtained from them. Consumption of herbal medicines is growing rapidly worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 80% of the world’s population use herbs to treat various diseases. According to WHO experts, over the next 10 years, the share of phytopreparations in the total consumption of pharmaceuticals will be 60%. Selection of the optimal technology for obtaining BAS from the composition of plants with ensuring their maximum extraction considering minimize production costs leads to improvement and search for new approaches to the development of herbal medicines. The master’s qualification work is devoted to the research of the technology of obtaining BAS from the grass Atropa beladonna, selection, and substantiation of optimal parameters of extraction of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, study of the kinetics of their extraction and development of technology for obtaining dry extract. Study object - Atropa beladonna herb and extracts based on it. Scope of research - kinetics of BAS extraction from Atropa beladonna herb, pharmacognostic, and phytochemical studies of medicinal plant raw materials and extracts based on it. The goal of research: to study the optimal conditions and kinetics of extraction of biologically active compounds from the grass Atropa beladonna, to obtain a dry extract, and perform phytochemical analysis. The paper presents an overview of literature sources on the content of biologically active compounds, pharmacological activity, and use of plants of the genus Adonis, with particular focus on data, and summarized the literature on the specifics of the type of Adonis vernalis. The modern market of phytopreparations is analyzed based on Atropa beladonna. Analysis of the literature showed that Atropa beladonna is a poisonous perennial plant of the Ranunculaceae family. The qualitative and quantitative content of cardiac flavonoids, and phenolic compounds in the obtained extract was studied using physicochemical methods of analysis. As a result of research, it was revealed that 70% aqueous-ethanol extract of Atropa beladonna contains a significant amount of flavonoids and phenolic compounds, and other biologically active substances. The master’s qualification work includes the economic part, which presents the calculations for the pharmaceutical company, specializing in the production of dry extracts from medicinal plant raw materials. Established that the price of goods is 11.20% of total production costs, indicating a significant level of profitability and economic viability of production.
