Abstract: The topic of the qualification work was the research and administration of the import activity of the business structure of Tropik LLP. The purpose of the work was to investigate and improve the administration of import activities of the business structure of Tropik LLC. The subject of the research was the administration of import activities, which were studied with the help of the object of research of Tropik LLP - the leader in the import of fruits and vegetables on the Ukrainian market. The relevance of the topic of the master’s work is that any business processes require control and management, no enterprise will achieve results if there is no administration in it. This is the function of the higher management bodies, which combines the organization of work processes and the control of the execution of assigned tasks. The analysis of the administrative system at the investigated enterprise will reveal the problems faced or may be faced nowadays by the enterprise engaged in foreign economic activity. And the proposed directions for eliminating these problems can be useful for many companies. All because import activity has changed somewhat since the beginning of 2022, new restrictions and prohibitions have come into effect, and legislative regulation has expanded significantly. The work consists of 4 parts: theoretical, analytical, research and recommendation. Chapter 1 provides an overview of the scientific and educational and methodological literature on the administration of import activities, and assesses the legislative and regulatory framework. Many domestic and foreign scientists have investigated the issue of administration of import activity in their works. A significant contribution was made by Y. Makogon, V. Mamutov, Y. Kozak, and S. Pivovarov, who, in fact, formulated and described problems in the management of import and export operations. V. Novytsky [1], T. Tsygankova [2], K. Reshetnyak [3], A. Savchenko [4], O. Shkurupii [5] studied the essence of import, its features and its management. Today, the scientific and educational-methodical base on the administration of import activity is quite large, but there are issues that require more detailed study. Chapter 2, the analytical part, presents an analysis of the administration of the import activity of Tropik LLP. The general characteristics of the enterprise and its production and economic activity showed that the company is a leading supplier of fruits and vegetables on the Ukrainian market. As of today, the company has 10 branches throughout Ukraine: Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa. The partners of Tropic LLC are the largest suppliers from all over the world (about 60 companies), and the company is the leader in Ukraine in the supply of fruit - its customers include both supermarket chains and small stores, as well as large wholesale customers and private entrepreneurs. The total volume of imported products is more than 120,000 tons per year. Chapter 3 examines in detail the administration of the import activity of Tropik LLC. The general economic situation of Tropik LLC is quite stable and has a positive upward trend. However, at the beginning of 2022, the company found itself in a difficult situation due to a full-scale war. The economic crisis, instability on the foreign exchange market, fluctuations and sharp increases in exchange rates, queues at borders and port closures, innovations and prohibitions in the legislation on the import of goods - all this together negatively affected the enterprise and shook its stability. Nevertheless, the data for the first half of 2022 show a relatively acceptable economic situation in the company. Undoubtedly, the increase in the cost of production (since prices have risen for absolutely everything - the purchase price of a product unit, transport, the cost of customs clearance / customs clearance, costs of keeping products in warehouses) will lead to a decrease in the company’s income and profits. In the last 4th chapter of the work, ways to improve the administration of the import activity of Tropik LLP are given. For this, 5 alternatives were developed, among which 3 were chosen and a comprehensive measure was formed, which will include the following tasks: 1. To improve the mechanism of import activity using software developed on the basis of 1C. 2. Add to the staffing list an additional position of manager of the ZED without previous work experience. 3. Introduce the position of logistics manager into the staff list and ensure an even distribution of functions. The detailing of the complex event showed that improving the mechanism of import activity using the software developed for the company and hiring a foreign trade manager and a logistics manager will improve import activity, increase the additional time of both foreign economic activity managers and logistics managers. And the economic substantiation of the complex measure confirmed its effectiveness and efficiency - the predicted growth of the return on capital indicator will be achieved. It was calculated as follows: calculation of total losses from the implementation of the measure, which amount to UAH 802,290; calculation of savings on contingent and fixed costs, which amounts to UAH 12,922.79 thousand. And the achievement of the forecast increase in return on capital of sold products by 2.7% will be achieved due to the increase in net income by 2.7% as a result of the implementation of the complex measure.
