Abstract: The master’s qualification work is devoted to the design of a vodka production line. In the course of designing the work, the author analyzed the methods of obtaining and producing vodka, selected the optimal technology and basic equipment according to the production line and designed it. The characteristics of raw materials used in the industrial production of vodka were analyzed and described. In the work, a full calculation of a continuous distillation column was carried out, which provides the required productivity per year. The column separated ethyl alcohol - water to obtain the target product, which was subsequently cooled in a shell-and-tube heat exchanger. A mixture of ethyl alcohol and impurities was obtained by fermenting grain crops with the addition of yeast. After maintaining a given time, a brew was formed, which was subsequently distilled in a batch rectification column. The calculation of a shelland-tube distiller for cooling the target product, ethyl alcohol, was also performed. A centrifugal pump was used as auxiliary equipment. This pump provides a uniform and fully required feed rate of the feed mixture to the continuous rectification column. In this work, we calculated the main economic coefficients that allow us to predict the costs of industrial vodka production.
