Characteristics of the educational program: Objects of study: social relations and interaction; individual, social groups, communities and societies; social phenomena and processes; Public Opinion; culture; social institutions; social structures and inequalities; social changes and influences; social problems and conflicts in society at the local, regional, national and global levels. Theoretical content: social relations and interaction; personality, social groups and communities; social phenomena and processes; social practices; social institutions; culture; social structures and inequalities; social changes and influences; social problems and conflicts in society, both at the national and global levels. Methods, techniques and technologies: modern methods of collecting, processing and analysis of sociological information, methods of diagnosis, examination and forecasting, information and communication technologies to solve problems of professional activity. Tools and equipment: modern universal and specialized information technologies (communication, search, analytical).
Gained competence: 1. Ability to understand, analyze and interpret social events, structures and processes, actions of various social actors and their interactions at the local, regional and global levels and on this basis the ability to independently formulate, analyze and solve research and / or innovation problems by sociology , which involves research and is characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements. 2. Ability to apply knowledge and skills in practical situations; 3. Ability to do scientific work, conduct research at the appropriate level; 4. Ability to communicate in a foreign language for professional purposes.
1. Ability to apply knowledge of theoretical, methodological and empirical nature to describe and explain social phenomena and processes; 2. Ability to identify, diagnose and interpret current issues of Ukrainian society and the world community; 3. Ability to design social research, develop and justify their methodology; 4. Ability to conduct independent research in the field of sociology, interpretation and implementation of their results; 5. Ability to analyze and present empirical data using modern methods in Ukrainian and foreign languages; 6. Ability to prepare reporting documents and research papers based on the results of social research, to develop sound recommendations of a socio-technical nature based on the results of empirical research.
1. Apply basic skills of teaching sociology in educational institutions, as well as in educational work; 2. Analyze, explain and predict current processes in the public sphere, based on the ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts; 3. To think systematically and critically, to apply creative abilities for the formation of new ideas, the discovery of new heuristic possibilities; 4. Critically evaluate the results obtained, process and defend the decisions made with arguments.
