Learning outcomes: • PER 1. Have knowledge of basic concepts, terms and meanings, professional language communication in the field of architecture and urban planning, adhere to academic standards integrity • PER 7. To have knowledge of the regulatory framework of architectural and urban planning, to critically assess the socioeconomic, environmental, ethical and aesthetic consequences in case of violation of state building codes • PER 8. To form data of pre-project analysis of architectural and town-planning objects and territories set aside for construction, reconstruction or restoration • PER 14. Conduct research and / or innovation activities, apply traditional and innovative methods of designing and conducting research • PER 16 Develop theoretical, typological approaches to solving problems of formation and development of architectural and urban environment based on the systematization of data of natural, humanities and technical sciences

Summary of the subject: General characteristics of a landscape object by the topic of thesis project. Regulatory and legal principles of a landscape object design. Analysis of Ukrainian experience. Analysis of foreign experience. Rationale for the concept of functional planning and spatial solution
Assessment methods and criteria: Explanatory Note of 50 pages (70%) Graphical part (schemes, diagrams, graphics, plans, master plans, photos, sketches etc) - 5 sheet of A4 (30%)

Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the architect should know: - urban planning and architectural features of designing public buildings; - functional and spatial foundations of the organization of public buildings of various purpose; - peculiarities and patterns of compositional formation of architectural space of public buildings. A trained architect should be able to: - to apply in practice the regularities of organization of public buildings of different purpose; - take into account the peculiarities of the composition of the interiors of different types of premises in unity with the space-spatial solution of a public building; - take into account the architectural and climatic factors of designing public buildings.
Required prior and related subjects: 1. Steel Structures; 2. Fundamentals and Methods of Architectural Design; 3. Typology of Public Buildings and Installations; 4. Architectural Physics (climatology, acoustics); 5. Fundamentals of Urban Planning: 6. Design of architectural environment of public buildings and structures.
Summary of the subject: The objective of the course is to: - to develop a creative approach to the architectural design of buildings for different purposes; - developing students' skills of real design of buildings and structures; - gaining experience in applying knowledge of typology, principles and techniques of forming architectural objects; - gaining experience in the formation of architectural spaces and the design of its content. Objectives of studying the discipline: - to form a deep knowledge of students about the scientific and theoretical foundations of designing buildings and structures for various purposes; - to acquaint students with the basics of designing buildings for various purposes and the design of their internal and external environment; - to develop in a student the ability to apply in practice the principles and means of spatial organization of interiors and exteriors of buildings of various purposes.
