Related and next: Fundamentals of Architectural Design, Part 2
Summary of the subject: The content of the discipline allows you to easily master the basic skills and abilities of architectural drawings at various scales. The discipline is intended for the basic training of a modern specialist in the field of architecture.
The implementation of practical tasks involves the gradual complication of design tasks - from drawing out elements of living rooms (furniture, sanitary appliances, built-in elements and appliances), basic design drawings in orthogonal projections (plans, facades, sections) to the depiction of the general plan of the site. A significant part of independent work in the selection of furniture and equipment, determination of the character and materials of the facade, filling of the interior space of the house is foreseen. Students study ergonomic parameters, gradually master various ways of organizing architectural space, carry out plot planning. Design tasks involve the development of sketch options and the adoption of an optimal compositional solution; development of drawings of a residential building on a defined scale; expressive and high-quality technical performance. Works are performed in various graphic techniques and materials (pencil, ink, watercolor, colored pencil) on A3 format.
Опис: Residential furniture. measurements and drawings of furniture (chairs, stools, armchairs, beds, sofas, cabinet furniture).
Bathrooms. measurements of plumbing fixtures, viewing samples, bathroom drawings.
kitchens types of kitchen furniture, viewing samples, drawings of different types of kitchens.

level plans (plan drawings, independent selection and arrangement of furniture, watercolor wash of the executed plan drawing)
drawing of the section and facades, watercolor wash of the drawing of the facade
drawing of the general plan of the site, watercolor wash of the drawing of the general plan
Final lesson: review, evaluation of works
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting an oral survey in practical classes, assessing activity in classes, checking individual tasks, evaluating the student's presentation-speech, participation in the discussion.
Final control: review of the course project, differentiated assessment

Assessment methods and criteria: Current monitoring of the student's work: graphic tasks;
Summative assessment: course project;
Semester assessment: based on the results of current monitoring - differentiated credit.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The academic discipline is evaluated based on the thematic control of individual graphic works. In the process, the classroom and homework assignments uploaded by students to the virtual learning environment are evaluated, as well as the student's readiness for a colloquium totaling 70 points. At the final stage of the training, a course project is developed and evaluated at 30 points. The total score for the discipline is 100 points.
After each event in the VLE, marks are put in the PK № column.
Current control is carried out upon submission of graphic works. Summative assessment is part of the student's independent work and is carried out in the form of an course project. When checking this task, the main attention is paid to the correspondence of the work to the topic, clarity of disclosure of the questions posed, independent execution and formatting of illustrative material, compliance with copyright requirements.
Course project has a specified deadline for submission. The student has the opportunity to upload photos and videos of the work to the VLE and, after verification, see the assessment result and comments.
Semester control - differentiated credit is given based on the results of current control. Evaluation of current work results (classroom and homework assignments, course project) is carried out according to the following criteria (as a percentage of the points allocated to the tasks): 0% - work is absent (or the work submitted already exists in the group); 28% - the work actually exists, but none of the assigned tasks are completed; 50% - the task is partially completed, characterized by initial ideas about the subject under consideration; 71% - the task is performed at an average level, although it has inaccuracies or insufficient argumentation; 88% - the task is performed at a sufficient level, although there is a lack of clear analytical and synthetic judgments; 100% - the task is performed at a high level, with a detailed study and a deep analysis of the topic.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Diagnosis of students' knowledge is carried out by assessing homework and laboratory assignments uploaded to a virtual learning environment with a total of 70 b. and a course project, which is estimated at 30 b. Total for the discipline - 100 points.
The grading system is as follows: 15 points for current assessment, 15 points for final assessment, and 70 points for semester (exam) assessment. In total, 100 points are awarded.
100-88 points ("excellent") are awarded for a high level of knowledge (with some inaccuracies) of the educational material contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena studied in their interrelation and development, to answer the questions posed clearly, concisely, logically, and sequentially, and the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems.
87-71 points ("good") are awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material, including calculations, reasoned answers to questions, which, however, contain some (insignificant) shortcomings, and the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems.
70-50 points ("satisfactory") are awarded for weak knowledge of the educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, and weak application of theoretical principles when solving practical problems.
49-26 points ("unsuccessful" with the possibility of retaking the semester assessment) are awarded for not knowing a significant part of the educational material, significant errors in answering questions, and the inability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems.
25-00 points ("unsatisfactory" with compulsory re-study) are awarded for not knowing a significant part of the educational material, significant errors in answering questions, the inability to orient oneself when solving practical problems, and not knowing the fundamental principles.
