Professional competences:
01. The ability to understand the main scientific and theoretical provisions of humanitarian, socio-economic and historical sciences, the ability to critically understand and apply research methods based on mathematical and natural sciences, informatics and computer modeling.
06. Knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and practical methodological foundations of architectural design, the foundations of the typology of buildings and structures, urban planning, architectural-environmental and landscape objects.
07. The ability to collect, accumulate and use information on legislative documents, state building norms and rules in the field of architecture, urban planning, reconstruction and restoration works.
08. Mastering the means of project modeling, execution of technical images using the methods and techniques of artistic and computer graphics for use in scientific and theoretical research, architectural design and landscape design, in projects of reconstruction and restoration of architectural monuments.
11. The ability to understand the theory and practice of urban planning: the formation of settlement systems, district planning, urbanism, the structure of the master plan, the economy of urban planning systems, landscaping and engineering equipment of territories, renovation of territories, aesthetics of the architectural and urban planning environment.
12. The ability to understand the theoretical and practical principles of designing residential, public, industrial and innovative typological groups of buildings and structures, their structural basis, methods of achieving a rational architectural and planning, volumetric and spatial solution, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, harmonization with the environment
Learning outcomes: 1.Have knowledge of basic concepts, terms and meanings, the language of professional communication in the field of architecture and urban planning, adhere to the norms of academic integrity.
2 Apply software tools, modern IT technologies, information resources in the process of solving research and design architectural and urban planning tasks.
5 Initiate participation in the development of competitive projects, develop and present conceptual architectural and urban planning solutions, apply creative methods of activity.
7 Володіти знаннями нормативної бази архітектурно-містобудівного проектування, критично оцінювати соціально-економічні, екологічні, етичні й естетичні наслідки у разі порушення державних будівельних норм.
8 Form the data of the pre-project analysis of architectural and urban planning objects and territories designated for development, reconstruction or restoration.
9 Identify the specifics of designing complex architectural and urban planning objects, develop complex planning projects of territories, buildings and interiors taking into account modern world trends and innovations.

Summary of the subject: the basic concepts and methods of formation of modern quality living environment. The main trends in the formation of housing at different structural levels - urban, at the level of housing structures and complexes, at the the planning structure level. Considerable attention is paid to the basics of creating a safe and comfortable living environment, global and local trends, as well as specialized housing types (including supportive housing types).
Опис: The discipline is designed to train a modern highly qualified specialist in the field of architecture, capable of applying a scientific approach in the field of architectural research. The main trends of the formation of housing at different structural levels are considered - urban planning, at the level of residential structures and complexes, at the level of the planning structure of the house and individual housing units. Considerable attention is paid to the basics of creating a safe and comfortable living environment, global and local trends, as well as civilizational and ecological factors affecting the future of the living environment. The students use the conducted exploratory scientific research according to the selected trend in the preparation of the scientific part of the master's thesis and the presentation of the research results.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: assessment of activity in the classroom, checking individual tasks, assessment of tests and presentations on the topic of research.
Final control: differentiated test.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
