Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is for students to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in making thematic maps, aimed at ensuring the rational use of natural resources and environmental protection based on the use of space shooting materials.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: General competences: ZK03. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ZK04. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. ZK07. Skills in using information and communication technologies. ZK08. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. Professional competences: FK01. Knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations of Earth sciences as a complex natural system. FK06. Ability to integrate field and laboratory observations with theory in a sequence: from observation to recognition, synthesis and modeling. FK08. Ability to independently investigate natural materials (in accordance with specialization) in field and laboratory conditions, describe, analyze, document and report on results. FCS2.6. Knowledge of theoretical foundations and information technologies for geoinformation mapping. FCS2.7. Automated creation and use of maps based on geographic information systems.
Learning outcomes: PH1. (PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of Earth sciences) PH2. (PR04. Use information technologies, cartographic and geo-information models in the field of Earth sciences) PH3. (PR05. Be able to conduct field and laboratory research) PH4. (PR08. Justify the choice and use field and laboratory methods for the analysis of natural and anthropogenic systems and objects) PH5. (PR11. Organize and summarize the materials of field and laboratory research) PH6. (PR15. To be able to choose optimal methods and tools for conducting research, collecting and processing data)
Required prior and related subjects: • Geospatial data infrastructure. • Basics of cartography. • Organization and management of cartographic works.
Summary of the subject: The current state of thematic mapping using space imagery. Principles of space photographic mapping to ensure the rational use of natural resources and the environment. Landscape maps as integrated maps of ecological potential. Maps of the current state of natural resources and anthropogenic landscapes. Maps for the rational use of natural resources and environmental protection. Laying the original originals of the cards. Landscape and landscape-indicator studies aimed at identifying the nature of anthropogenic impact on the environment. Laying out forecast maps. Compilation of the resulting comprehensive environmental map.
Опис: The discipline "Mapping of the natural environment based on space images" studies: the current state of thematic mapping based on the materials of space photography; principles of drawing maps based on space photographic materials to ensure rational use of natural resources and environmental protection; landscape maps as comprehensive maps of ecological potential; maps of the current state of natural resources and anthropogenic landscapes; maps of rational use of natural resources and environmental protection. And also: stacking of original original maps; landscape and landscape-indicative studies aimed at identifying the nature of anthropogenic influence on the natural environment; compilation of forecast maps; compilation of the resulting comprehensive map of environmental protection.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Written reports on laboratory work, verbal examination (30%). • Final control (test): written, verbal form (70%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: 1. Performance of laboratory work (max. 30 points). Laboratory works No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, No. 6 are evaluated with a maximum of 5 points. 2. Performance of the control work (max. 70 points).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
