Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Fundamentals of scientific and innovative activity in the field of computer systems and networks" is designed to provide students with the basics of conducting scientific and innovative activity in the field of CPS. To master this discipline, knowledge of the following disciplines is necessary: "Research and design of CSN".
Опис: Lecture classes 1. Introduction to the discipline 2. The purpose and tasks of the research. The procedure for carrying out scientific research. A systematic approach to scientific research. 3. The process of scientific research. Research methods in the field of CPS. 4. Organization of scientific research 5. Main directions of research in the field of CPS 6. Fundamentals of innovative activity in the field of CPS A total of 12 hours, each topic 2 hours. Practical training 1. Acquaintance with examples of scientific research. 2. Familiarization with research methods in the field of CPS. 3. Examples of scientific research organization 4. Consolidation of the results of scientific research 5. Final lesson. Academic integrity in scientific research 6. Seminar classes Innovative activity in the field of CPS. Final lesson. The contribution of the results of practical classes to the examination assessment. 24 hours in total
Assessment methods and criteria: Activities for evaluating the results of graduate students' training include current and semester monitoring of training results and diagnosis of the acquisition of competencies. Current control is carried out during practical classes of the graduate student, which aims to check the level of assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge. The result of current control is formed from the results of practical classes and the performance of an individual research task (writing an essay). Semester control is carried out in the form of an exam based on the weighted-cumulative system and in the terms established by the University.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Maximum score in points Current control (PC) Examination control Together for the discipline Abstract protection -20, Practical classes - 10 together on a PC the Written component oral component 30 60 10 100
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
