Semester: 1 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation of the knowledge base necessary for understanding the state and prospects for the development of technical means used in traffic management.
Завдання: General: 1. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; 2. Ability to develop projects and manage them. Specialists: 1. Ability to manage traffic flows; 2. Ability to manage the reliability and efficiency of transport systems and technologies; 3. The ability to organize and manage traffic, including the creation and improvement of automated traffic management systems; 4. Ability to effectively use tools and technologies of modern traffic regulation.
Learning outcomes: - To ensure the safety of people and the environment during professional activities and implementation of projects in the field of transport systems and technologies. – Develop new and improve existing transport systems and technologies, determine development goals, existing limitations, performance criteria and areas of use. - Find optimal solutions among alternative options of transport systems. Teaching and learning methods: lectures and laboratory works - research method, methods of mathematical and simulation modeling, graphic, analytical and statistical analysis; independent work is a research method. Methods of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: current control - performance and protection of laboratory work, frontal and individual survey, intermediate testing; final (examination) control - performance of a three-level test.
Required prior and related subjects: • Increasing the safety of road conditions, • Special methods of traffic management.
Summary of the subject: During the study of this academic discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills regarding the basics of traffic management in various conditions; methods of researching road traffic parameters; basics of accounting and analysis of traffic events; interaction of the elements of the VADS system and the conditions for ensuring road traffic safety; technical means of traffic management and methods of their use in traffic management.
Опис: General issues of traffic regulation. The nature of traffic flows and the need for regulation. Traffic light regulation efficiency indicators. Classification of technical means of traffic management. Coordinated regulation. Basic principles of regulation. Methods of calculation of coordination programs. Multi-program coordinated regulation. Local adjustment of coordination programs. Technical means of coordinated regulation. Software dispatching systems and organization of dispatching management. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of technical means. Experimental studies of the efficiency of technical means.
Assessment methods and criteria: Students' knowledge is assessed using the following methods: 1. Protection of reports for laboratory work in written form by conducting a control event on the subject of the work in the form of a test in the National Security Service; 2. Conducting an exam based on the results of studying the discipline, which consists of three-level theoretical and practical tasks; 3. Conducting the oral component based on the results of the written exam, the questions of which are based on the content of practical tasks.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • written reports on laboratory work, oral survey (40%) • final component (50%, control measure, exam); -oral form (10%)
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
