Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation and development of the student's system of knowledge and skills in the field of managing projects and programs for the development of socio-economic systems and practical application of the universal toolkit of project and program management to achieve effective functioning and development of socio-economic systems at the micro-, meso- and macro-level.
Завдання: General competences (CG): ZK1. The ability to generate new ideas (creativity). ZK2. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ZK4. Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups of various levels (with experts from other fields of knowledge/types of economic activity). ZK6. Ability to develop and manage projects. ZK7. Ability to act on the basis of ethical considerations (motives). Special (professional, subject) competences of the specialty (FC): FC4. The ability to use modern information technologies, methods and methods of research of economic and social processes, adequate to the established research needs. FC9. The ability to apply a scientific approach to the formation and implementation of effective projects in the social and economic sphere. FC10. Ability to develop scenarios and strategies for the development of socio-economic systems.
Learning outcomes: - capability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of project management philosophy; - knowledge and understanding of design and software approaches in managing the development of socio-economic systems; - knowledge and understanding of methodologies and tools for managing projects and programs for the development of socio-economic systems; - ability to form and justify the choice of project, program, portfolio for implementation and its concept; - ability to optimize project parameters; - ability to make project decisions based on acquired knowledge and skills in the field of project management; - ability to use economic tools to manage resources, costs and project budget. - ability to use the most common software products in business structures, such as MS Project, Project Expert, Audit Expert, Jira Atlassian.

Summary of the subject: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should develop a holistic system of knowledge and acquire skills in the practical application of economic tools for managing projects and programs for the development of socio-economic systems at all levels. During the course of study, students will gain a deeper understanding of the philosophy of managing projects and programs for the development of socio-economic systems, methodologies and tools, will be able to form and justify the choice of a project, program, portfolio for implementation; learn how to choose economic tools for managing projects and programs for the development of socio-economic systems; optimize project parameters; practice specific functions of project management at the level of the requirements of international standards; apply methodologies of financial and economic forecasting and planning of development projects; carry out financial and economic evaluation of projects; apply tools to improve the financial and economic condition of the economic entity; evaluate the financial and economic expediency of individual economic decisions from the standpoint of the interests of the owner and each of the participants in the project of developing socio-economic systems of all levels; solve optimization tasks of project management; make project decisions based on the acquired knowledge and acquired skills in the field of project management. In laboratory classes, students will master the tools that make it possible to plan projects and programs; control the success of their implementation; to improve the financial and economic condition of the subject of the economy; carry out a situational analysis of development projects and programs; develop models of financial and economic forecasts and project plans; determine the sustainability of the project, taking into account the influence of various factors; replicate scenarios for variable parameters; combine projects into programs and analyze their impact on the activities of micro-, meso- and macro-level socio-economic systems.
Опис: Introduction to economic tools for project management and development programs of socio-economic systems. Project and program approaches in managing the development of socio-economic systems. Methodology and tools for project and program management. Methods of substantiation and selection of projects. tools for the formation and optimization of programs and portfolios. Tools for planning and control of projects and programs for the development of socio-economic systems. Basic methods of time management. Economic tools for managing resources, costs and project budget. Economic tools of risk management. Economic tools for project quality management.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of knowledge diagnosis are current and final (examination) control. In the process of current control, methods of knowledge diagnosis are: assessment of student performances and their activity during business and simulation games at lecture classes; verification of the performance of laboratory work, protection of reports on the performance of laboratory work; verification, discussion and defense of an individual research project. Examination control: assessment of written and oral components.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (100%): - performance and protection of laboratory works (24%); - performance and protection of 2 individual control works (16%); - business and simulation games in lectures (5%). Final control (exam): written and oral form (40% and 15%)
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: A - the grade "excellent" (88-100 points) is given for deep knowledge of the educational material contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied, in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically consistently to answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; B - the grade "good" (80-87 points) is given for solid knowledge of the educational material, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; C - grade "good" (71-79 points) is given for solid knowledge of the educational material, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) inaccuracies, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems ; D - the rating "satisfactory" (61-70 points) is given for mediocre knowledge of the educational material, poorly reasoned answers, weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; E - grade "satisfactory" (50-60 points) is given for weak knowledge of the educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of its teaching, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; FX - the grade "unsatisfactory" with the possibility of retaking the exam (26-49 points) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; F - grade "unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study of the module (academic discipline) (00-25 points) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions
