Characteristics of the educational program: The purpose of the program is to provide theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities to solve complex problems in the field of power engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics, conducting scientific, research and innovation activities, as well as the implementation of the results. The peculiarity of the educational program is its focus on current aspects of the specialty, within which further scientific and teaching career is possible. During the program, applicants perform educational and scientific components that provide the formation of general and special competencies in research, synthesis, design of power and electromechanical systems and its component. The program contains selective blocks and disciplines for individual choice, which correspond to the topic of student's research. The student must complete the educational component of the program in the amount of 48 ECTS credits, which includes: - academic disciplines - 45 ECTS credits; - pedagogical workshop - 3 ECTS credits. ECTS credits are awarded to the student in case of successful passing of written (oral) tests or examinations in academic disciplines, defense of course works and projects, defense of the report on the workshop. The result of the scientific component is a dissertation, which is an independent research that offers a solution to the current scientific and applied problem in the specialty 141 " Power engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics ". The results of dissertation must have scientific novelty and practical value and must be published in relevant scientific journals. The final attestation includes public defense of the Philosophy Doctor dissertation.
