Characteristics of the educational program: The educational program has an interdisciplinary nature, as it involves the formation of a set of competencies in the field of economics, sociology, demography and management. The program is based on the fundamental postulates and results of modern theoretical and applied research in the field of social development management, in particular, social economy, analytics and management, and orients the student to current specialization, within which further professional and scientific career is possible: employment, economist-demographer, employment specialist (headhunter), manager (manager) in the social sphere, manager (manager) of a public health organization, manager (manager) of insurance.
Gained competence: -fundamental theory and practice of conducting economic activity, modern trends in the development of the economy at the micro, meso- and macro levels, applied aspects of professional activity in the field of economics, laws of the development of economic processes of business entities; -conceptual and methodological, methodical and applied principles of economic activity of enterprises of different forms of ownership and types of activity, theoretical and applied principles of the formation and development of an economic mechanism of functioning of economic entities; -classical and contemporary social economies and policy in the field of analytics and management; domestic and international legal and regulatory framework for the development of the social sphere; -the fundamentals and technologies of making managerial decisions, human resources and quality management; -methodology and tools of socio-demographic, socio-economic, ekistical research; -mechanisms for regulating social and labor relations in the global, national, regional and local dimensions, knowledge in the field of social responsibility in order to balance the interests of the state, business and civil society.
-ability to solve complex problems and problems during professional activities in the field of social economy and politics, in particular in conditions of uncertainty; -ability to initiate, develop and manage projects and programs for the development of enterprises using modern software, technical and information-communication support; -ability to choose and apply practically a wide range of economic instruments, methods and levers; -ability to initiate, develop and improve the information and analytical provision of management activities in the field of social economy and politics; -ability to plan and forecast work in the field of socio-demographic reproduction, labor and employment, human resources management, strategic management and strategic planning of the development of territories; apply modern tools for the diagnosis and development of regional labor markets.
-ability to critically analyze socio-economic processes and phenomena in the context of their impact on human development, the environment of its existence, society; strategically think, use modern methods of scientific knowledge and develop modern models of management of social and humanitarian development using international experience in designing and reorganizing management and general organizational structures of the social sphere; -ability to conduct research at the appropriate level, generate new ideas (creativity), identify initiative and entrepreneurship, make informed decisions in the field of social economy and politics, analyze, assess and ensure the quality of the work performed in the socio-economic field; -ability to design areas of development of social systems at the national, regional, local and organizational levels; to critically analyze and improve organizational, normative-legal, financial and economic, material and technical aspects of the development of social-labor relations; -ability to organize and manage social business, in particular on the basis of crowdfunding, fundraising.
Occupational profiles of graduates: Jobs in various fields of economics and social development management (public administration and local self-government, education, health care, labor market infrastructure) in the following positions: analyst in the field of professional employment, economist-demographer, employment specialist (headhunter), manager (manager) in the social sphere, manager (manager) of the public health organization, manager (manager) of insurance.
