Learning outcomes: - knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles of the organization of the system of collecting information on the aging population and expanding the possibilities of its economic activity; - in-depth knowledge in the field of basics of social gerontology and analytics, the use of data sources on population aging, basic tools for analyzing the sustainability of guaranteed income systems for the elderly on the basis of broad and multilevel approaches, including labor supply and productivity. - knowledge of theories of social gerontology and entrepreneurship and their place in solving the problems of economic consequences of population aging; - understanding the content and ability to correctly interpret the indicators of social gerontology and entrepreneurship.

Summary of the subject: Formation of theoretical bases, methodological and methodical bases for the organization of gathering and analysis of the information regarding the aging of the population and expansion of possibilities of its economic activity; understanding the peculiarities of modern processes of healthy, active, and well-off old age in different countries and in Ukraine, mastering theoretical approaches to explaining the economic consequences of population aging, problems, and opportunities of social gerontology and entrepreneurship; mastering the necessary competencies and basic skills of analysis and evaluation of the social and economic activity of the elderly: the formation of competencies in the field of partnership to achieve positive changes.
