Summary of the subject: Basic biotechnology concept of vaccinology. Vaccines. Classification of vaccines. The composition of the vaccines. Anatoxins. Adjuvants: a classification according to origin, physical and chemical properties and characteristics. Bacterial vaccines for prevention of infectious diseases. Technological scheme of production of bacterial vaccines. Viral vaccines for the prevention of infectious diseases. The composition and technology of production of combined vaccines. Peptide and ribosomal vaccines. Scheme of production of ribosomal vaccines. Plant-based vaccines. Industrial production of vaccines. Requirements for vaccines. Quality control of vaccines. Parameters of quality of vaccines.
