Credits: 4.00
Department: Higher Geodesy and Astronomy
Lecturer: Dzhuman Bohdan Bohdanovich
Semester: 1 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate profound knowledge and skills in conducting experiments, collecting data, modeling and analyzing the results obtained, systematically thinking and applying creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas in space geodesy. 2. To carry out mathematical and statistical elaboration of the results of scientific and applied activities.
Required prior and related subjects: 1. Satellite geodesy and spherical astronomy, Part 1 2. Higher geodesy, Part 2 3. Theoretical geodesy
Summary of the subject: The subject "Reference systems in the geodesy" from 2015 became the basis of the basic section number 1 "Reference systems" of the International Association of Geodesy. His study provides general information about the shape of the Earth and its rotation; the motion of the earth's poles, the dynamics of the earth's crust. Geodetic coordinates and natural coordinates. Installing a normal Earth. International Standards. Tisseran coordinate system. Helmond transformation. Generalized transformation of Molodensky. Realization of heavenly and terrestrial coordinate systems. Elevation reference system. Earth orientation options. Transformation from the celestial to earth coordinate system. Fundamentals of the European Earth coordinate system ETRS and its implementation ETRF. European Vertical System EVRS and its requirements. Natural coordinates and geopotential numbers. Characteristics of the main systems of heights. Conversion of geopotential numbers, normal altitudes and altitudes of quasigoids from one system to another. Dynamic vertical dates and height systems associated with the gravitational field.
Assessment methods and criteria: PC - 100 points. There are 6 types of OIRs: 2 laboratory work, 1 control work, 3 thematic controls in the form of testing using the VNS.
