Learning outcomes: 1. The ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and skills to conduct experiments, collect data, modeling and analysis of the results, systematic thinking and apply creativity to the formation of innovative ideas in geodesy and land management. 2. Plan and complete research, using the resulting expertise to prepare and perform the research plan under the defined time frame. 3. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current state of affairs and new technologies in the field of geodesy and land management. 4. To formulate and refine an important research problem, its solution to collect the necessary information and draw conclusions that can be protected in a scientific context. 5. Systematic thinking and apply creativity to the formation of innovative ideas. 6. Implement relevant experimental studies research skills using professional subjects. 7. work effectively both individually and in the team. 8. Combining theory and practice, and make decisions and develop a strategy to meet the challenges of specialty (specialization) on the basis of human values, social, public and industrial interests. 9. Ability to work effectively in groups to locate, acquire and process data to solve research problems and take responsibility for organizing periods of work. 10. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and one foreign language (English, German, French, Polish). 11. The ability to use a variety of methods, including information technology effectively to communicate on a professional and social level. 12. Ability to communicate clearly and unequivocally substantiated their findings and knowledge to specialists and non-specialists persons enrolled.

Summary of the subject: Individual work on student performance practice coincides with the theme of the master's qualification work and should provide technological solutions of a problem by experimental (sometimes theoretical) research. The practice includes the following sections: 1. Purpose of research tasks. 2. Information retrieval and processing materials for setting the direction of research. 3. Experimental studies. 4. Processing of research results.
Assessment methods and criteria: Final control (100%, differentiated test): a report on the practice, the protection of report.
