Summary of the subject: The main tasks that fall within the scope of interests of theoretical geodesy. On the interaction of astrometry, gravimetry and geodesy in the study of Earth's rotation. Rotation and orientation of the Earth. Conventional celestial reference system and its implementation. Terrestrial reference systems and their implementation. Relationship between the terrestrial reference system and the geocentric celestial reference system.
Assessment methods and criteria: written reports by laboratory work, oral examination (30%); final control (50 %, control measure, exam, oral form - 20%).
