Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline the student must obtain the following program competencies: General competencies (GQ): 1. Ability to motivate people and move towards a common goal. 2. Ability to develop and manage projects. 3. Ability to identify, pose and solve problems. Professional competencies (FC): 4. Ability to carry out museification of objects of historical, cultural and natural heritage. 5. Ability to manage and administer museum, tourism and conservation facilities. 6.. Ability to effectively use and develop resources of cultural heritage and cultural tourism. 7. Ability to choose and use concepts, methods and tools for managing cultural heritage and cultural tourism in accordance with defined goals and international standards. Professional competences (FCS): 8. Ability to work on projects to involve the community in the field of cultural heritage and development of cultural tourism ;. Skills (UM): 9. Integrate into the social and economic sector (revitalize) the historical and cultural environment as a resource for the development of local communities.. 10. Analyze the latest practices in promoting cultural tourism at different levels. 11. Work on projects to involve the community in the field of cultural heritage and development of cultural tourism. 12. Develop concepts of museum institutions, brands and projects for the use of historical, cultural and natural heritage.
Required prior and related subjects: marketing and PR for museums and cultural heritage sites; project management and creative entrepreneurship.
Summary of the subject: Cooperating with museums and NGOs to improve communication and profit making for investment in development; the concept of ecomuseum; involvement of the public in the daily activities of the museum.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods and criteria of assessment: rating assessment on a 100-point system: current tests - 40 points (quiz, presentation, oral and written answers), final test - 60 points (written exam).
