Learning outcomes: As the result of the discipline study, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: to know general features of translation from Japanese; to be able to translate texts of general character from Japanese to Ukrainian, using vocabulary.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: “Modern Japanese” Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, "Models of modern communcation (Japanese language)", Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, “Practice of Translation (Japanese language)” Part1, Part 2. Corequisites: -
Summary of the subject: Translation of texts of journalistic, scientific and artistic styles. Translation of scientific and newspaper articles and news. Translation of tales.
Assessment methods and criteria: Monitoring: listening, monologue and dialogic speaking, reading, writing. Final test. Final assessment: examination.
