Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. Know: the characteristics of the sound field; features of acoustic rooms in the context of sound insulation, sound absorption; aspects of sound radiation, characteristics of microphones, parameters of speech signals; 2. Have the classification of signals and elements of their modulation; analyze the features of spurious radiation and guidance; 3. Know the methods and means of signal interception; 4. Be able to recognize the structures and characteristics of optical, acoustic, electronic channels of information leakage; 5. Know the levels of practical application of means of counteraction to listening to acoustic signals; 6. Master: the principle of operation of radio control equipment; ways to prevent leakage of information through embedded devices; 7. Be able to apply the methodology of designing systems for technical protection of acoustic information; 8. To master the physical principles of current resonance in a parallel RLC-circuit and voltage resonance in a series RLC-circuit and to investigate the phenomena of resonances in the Micro-Cap modeling environment.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous disciplines: Fundamentals of the theory of circuits, signals and processes in systems of technical protection of information (part 1, part 2); Metrology and measurement; Circuitry of devices for technical protection of information (Part 1, Part 2). Related disciplines: Methods and means of information protection; Information security control and measuring equipment; Design of information security systems.
Summary of the subject: Abstract of the discipline. The concept of the discipline: objects (natural, technical), radiation, waves, fields, signals; transmission / reception systems; communication channels - signals; interception systems - threat models; technical protection systems - protection models. The concept space includes: acoustic fields and waves, radiation and reception of sound waves in information security systems, room acoustics, signals, means of signal interception, information leakage channels, technologies for counteracting listening to acoustic signals, technologies for detecting embedded devices, radio control tools, detection technologies information leakage due to incidental radiation and guidance, principles of designing acoustic information protection systems. Presented: elements of the study of the resonance of currents and voltages, respectively, in parallel and serial RLC-circuits in the simulation environment Micro-Cap; calculation of antenna parameters.
Assessment methods and criteria: Lectures. Practical training. Independent work. Methods of diagnostics of knowledge. The method of knowledge diagnostics is control work (CR). It covers the main issues of the sections of the discipline at the concept level: objects - radiation - waves - fields - signals - transmission / reception systems - communication channels - interception systems - threat models - technical protection systems - protection models that allow students to systematically approach to building a system of technical protection of information. The total volume of the CD is 20 pages. text. The text part of the CD covers: title page, table of contents, main part, list of sources used. The topic of the CD is individual for each student according to the elements of the concept of the discipline.
