Learning outcomes: Knowledge of problem-oriented distributed information systems, distributed information resources and networks; Knowledge of design technology of distributed information and communication systems, network protocols ; Knowledge of security of distributed information resources, databases and knowledge bases safety.
Required prior and related subjects: Information security in information and communications systems; Monitoring and auditing of ICS; Methods and tools of cryptanalysis.
Summary of the subject: Problem-oriented distributed information systems. Classification of distributed systems. Characteristics of distributed systems. Architecture of multiprocessor systems. Interaction of components of a distributed system. Database and knowledge security. Mandatory protection methods. Basic technologies of information presentation in distributed systems. Network protocols. Levels of protocols. Connection based on data streams. Interjacent level protocols. Clients. Servers. Databases and knowledge bases. To keep an access log. Bypass of protection system.
Assessment methods and criteria: written reports on laboratory works, oral examination, reference work (30%); final control (70% control measure, test), written-oral form (70%).
