Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • know the concept of general characteristics of secret information; • to know the legal provisions for the protection of state secrets; • know and use the mechanism of access to information that is a state secret and commercial secret; • know and use the procedure for organizing work with documents that constitute a state secret; the procedure for organizing collective work with documents constituting a commercial secret; mandatory conditions related to ensuring the safety of use, preservation and protection of the commercial secret of the enterprise; • know the types and procedures of legal responsibility for the disclosure of state secrets; • etc. • knowingly comply with the rules of working with information with limited access and comply with the requirements for the protection of information operating in the system of the State Security Service of Ukraine; • use special technical means of information protection; • use software and hardware means of limiting access to information in automated systems and anti-virus means of protecting information in personal computers; • be able to design various systems for the protection of state secrets. • know the working principles of the state secret system and be able, depending on the requirements, to choose the necessary state secret protection system depending on the physical principle of action and requirements. • Be able to design accompanying information protection systems for objects where information with limited access circulates (objects of critical infrastructure).

Summary of the subject: Introductory lecture. The purpose and objectives of the course. Designing security systems of critical infrastructure and state secrets Information with limited access: concepts and types Division and general characteristics of information by access mode Legal protection of state secrets. Legislated requirements for information containing features of a state secret are implemented for the purpose of protecting state secrets The procedure for obtaining a special permit for carrying out activities related to state secrets. Permissive system of access to commercial secrets. Mandatory conditions related to ensuring the security of use, preservation and protection of state secrets. Technical protection of information containing state secrets. The structure and powers of regime-secret bodies. Internally - object mode and its tasks. The main systems of protection of critical infrastructure objects. Species and subspecies Systems of perimeter protection of objects where information with limited access circulates Systems of early detection of emergency situations at critical infrastructure facilities Access control and management systems at facilities where there is a state secret Other types of information protection systems and objects where there is a state secret (crypto protection systems, lightning protection systems, premises protection systems)
Assessment methods and criteria: Execution and defense of laboratory work is evaluated by a maximum score of 5 points per lesson - the maximum number of points - 30. Successful completion of the test forms the admission to the test. Credit (Written component) (3 levels of questions): • 1 level - 20 points (10 questions of 2 points); • Level 2 20 points (4 questions of 5 points); • Level 3 30 points (2 questions of 15 points); The maximum number of points is 70. Total for the discipline - 100 points.

Summary of the subject: the process of working on the course project, students will understand the importance of measures to protect state secrets, will know the legal features of state secret protection, will know the procedure for classifying information as a state secret, will know the procedure for admission and admission to state secrets, organization of the regime at facilities where information from limited access, they will know the types and procedures of legal responsibility for the disclosure of state secrets, and most importantly, they will be able to design and design state secret protection systems, as well as all other protection systems that are necessary to ensure the information security of the object.
