Learning outcomes: • Make effective decisions in the field of transport systems and technologies taking into account technical, social, economic and legal aspects, generate and compare alternatives, assess the necessary resources and constraints, analyze risks; • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of supply chains and logistics centers, to calculate the relevant indicators; • Perform optimization of transport system parameters and transport technologies according to various efficiency criteria on based on their mathematical models
Required prior and related subjects: • City passenger transport; • Traffic management; • Reliability of city logistics; • Intelligent transport systems.
Summary of the subject: During the study of this discipline the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to assess the effective operation of transport. Students will have the skills to implement the main directions of improving transport efficiency, the order of formation of efficiency criteria, their development and the ability to respond quickly and timely to changes in the development of the transport system. The purpose of studying the discipline is to form in students a system of knowledge necessary for the organization and management of passenger and freight transportation, taking into account aspects of transport efficiency.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Protection of reports for practical work in writing (or in the form of testing) and control work on the subject of the course (30%). - Conducting a test based on the results of the study of the discipline, which consists of two levels of theoretical and practical tasks (60%). - Conducting an oral component based on the results of writing a test, the questions of which are based on the content of lectures and practical classes (10%).
