Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline is to acquaint students with the preparation of scientific publications, conference materials, and presentations of scientific reports.
Завдання: general competencies: ZK-2. The ability to be critical and self-critical in order to understand factors that have a positive or negative impact on communication, and the ability to identify and take into account these factors in specific communication situations; ZK-8. The ability to conduct research at an appropriate level, to have research skills that are manifested in the ability to form (by making presentations or presenting reports) new products in the chosen field, to choose the appropriate directions and appropriate methods for their implementation, taking into account the available resources; ZK-10. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of the profession; ZK-14. Skills in using information and communication technologies, implementing computer programs and using existing ones; ZK-15. Ability to evaluate and maintain the quality of work performed. professional competences: FC-2. Basic ideas about the structure of matter, the main physical processes and phenomena on which the functioning of micro- and nano-electronic devices, functional electronics and electronic equipment is based; FK-4. Basic ideas about the structure, principle of operation and main characteristics of microelectronics and functional electronics devices; FC-6. Basic concepts of methods of analysis and synthesis of components and devices of electronic equipment; FC-8. Basic ideas about modern technologies o Basic ideas about the methodology of scientific research in electronics; FC-13. Basic ideas about the methodology of scientific research in electronics; FCS-4. Ability to solve problems of optimization, modification and updating of technology and production of materials and components of micro- and nano-electronics; FCS-5. Ability to solve problems of optimization and updating of electronic means of automation, collection, processing, transmission, storage and display of information. FCS-6. Ability to analyze scientific and technical literature on the state, trends and development of electronic equipment, technical, technological and design documentation, including in a foreign language; FCS-7. The ability to conduct tests, experimental and theoretical studies of the properties of materials, components and devices of electronic equipment.
Learning outcomes: Forecasting and development of materials and components for radio electronic devices and systems (RTS); Ability to formulate requirements for quality control and operational parameters of materials, components and devices of electronic equipment at RTS production; Design (construction) of RTS; The ability to choose components and means of electronic equipment to perform the given functions of RTS; The ability to analyze scientific and technical literature on the state, trends and development of electronic equipment, technical, technological and design documentation, including in a foreign language, for RTS; Ability to calculate and design the structure and devices that are part of the RTS. Organization and management of production of RTS materials, components and devices; Ability to assess performance, diagnose and debug devices, means and systems of RTS; Using scientific and technical documentation on the properties of materials and components, design and develop materials and components with specified properties for RTS. Using regulatory and technical documentation regarding the properties of materials, technological and economic indicators, develop the design of RTS device details. Develop textual and graphic documentation for designed products. At all stages of design and development of documentation, use tools of automated design systems (CAD). Competently use the terminology of the field of telecommunications and radio engineering. The ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current monitoring of laboratory classes is carried out in order to identify the student's readiness for classes in the following forms: - a selective oral survey before the start of classes; - assessment of the student's activity in the course of classes, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc. Control questions are divided into: - a) test tasks - choose the correct answers; - b) problematic – creation of problematic situations; c) questions-replies - to identify cause-and-effect relationships; - d) situational tasks – to determine the answer according to a certain situation; - e) issues of a reproductive nature - determination of practical significance. The final control is carried out based on the results of the current control and examination work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) is given for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points – (“not certified” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
