Sistems for Determining Flight Parameters

Major: Avionics
Code of subject: 6.173.01.E.083
Credits: 4.00
Department: Electronics and Information Technology
Lecturer: Associate Prof. G. Vaskiv
Semester: 8 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: students study the principles of operation of automatic systems for controlling flight parameters; students mastering the functions of stabilization of flight modes depending on the stabilizing parameter: stabilization of angular position, flight height and flight speed; the ability of students to use software maneuvering, which is carried out by means of pre-programmed deviations of the control bodies of the aircraft during maneuvers; students' understanding of the functions of the automation of combat use, which consists in the execution of complex commands that provide solutions to the tasks of the combat use of aircraft with possible interaction of the on-board automatic control system with ground means of target designation and guidance.
Required prior and related subjects: Pre-requisites: Methods of digital information processing in modern avionics systems Co-requisites: Telecommunication networks in avionics
Summary of the subject: It is presented the basic principles of registration of parameters of flight, essence, purpose, organization and methods of their objective control. It is considered the on-board facilities, intended for registration and storage of flight information, characterizing flight conditions, crew's operation and operation of on-board equipment, various types of means of objective control of flight parameters, classification of on-board units of registration of flight parameters for functional purpose and the principle of recording information and their application for automatical record of the flight parameters.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: Presentations at laboratory classes, solving tasks Final control: Test (written and oral components) The distribution of points according to a 100-point scale Current control – 30 points Test control – 70 points Of which: Written component – 50 points Oral component – 20 points
