Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the study of the academic discipline and the main result of the study is the acquisition of basic knowledge on the problems of interaction between man and the environment, the strategy of sustainable development of society as a driving force of innovation, as well as scientific research as an innovative activity, necessary for making managerial decisions in further professional activity (regardless of from the direction of this activity) and in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

Skills of performing safe activities. professional competences: - FC 5. The ability to assess technical, economic, environmental, safety and other risks in the design and implementation of avionics systems and information systems of aircraft and ground systems - FC 9. Solve complex problems and problems of avionics in broad and multidisciplinary contexts, in new or unfamiliar environments in the presence of incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility. - FC 11. Mastering the basics of scientific research.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • knowledge of the principles of sustainable development engineering, the role of engineering science and practice in the balanced development of society and sustainable development; • knowledge of research methods, principles of scientific knowledge and research, schemes of research process and its stages, as well as intellectual property rights • acquisition of basic knowledge on the problems of human interaction with the environment, the strategy of sustainable development of society as a driving force of innovation • ability to search for the necessary data in scientific and technical literature, databases and other sources, analyze scientific and technical literature in domestic and foreign sources to determine the status and search for modern and promising developments in professional activities..

Summary of the subject: The course covers a wide range of issues related to the study of the essence and basic concepts and principles of the strategy of sustainable development of society: the concept of the biosphere as a dynamic system, basic information about the global ecological problems of mankind, anthropogenic influences on the biosphere, as well as theoretical and applied aspects of society's transition to model of sustainable development. The role of engineering science and practice in the balanced development of society and sustainable development as a driving force of innovation, as well as science as an innovative activity, is shown. The main principles of scientific knowledge and scientific research are described, the scheme of the scientific research process and its stages, the issues of intellectual property of the results of scientific research are highlighted.
Опис: Sustainable development: the formation of the concept. Club of Rome - a study of the global environmental problem. Human impact on the biosphere. Sustainable development and globalization. Changes in the world economy due to the development of information technology and systems. Formation and development of the global information society. Stages of emergence and formation of the concept of sustainable development. Index of Global Progress of the Sustainable Development Goals. The role of engineering science and practice in the sustainable development of society. Enterprise and principles of sustainable development. Approaches to production optimization with a focus on waste reduction. Ecological and resource component of sustainable development of Ukrainian enterprises. Principles of the "green" economy according to UNEP. The concept of multi-turn (circular) economy. Transition to the reusable economy and corporate social responsibility. Industrial ecology and the main directions of its development. Conditions for the formation of a stable state of the economy. Environmental strategies. Sustainable development is the driving force of innovation and the development of science as an innovation activity. Scientific knowledge, scientific research and scientific knowledge. Principles and functions of scientific knowledge. Forms of scientific knowledge. Scientific research, research activity and its stages. Scientific knowledge and their classification. Criteria for scientific knowledge. General scheme of research process and its stages. Organizational stage of the research process / Research and final stages of the research process. Intellectual property as a right to the results of human creativity. The concept of intellectual property. Legal system of intellectual property. Objects of intellectual property rights. Protection of intellectual property rights.
Assessment methods and criteria: Seminar and practical tasks - 40 points Current testing on topics - 30 points Final testing - 30 points Oral and written surveys during the implementation and defense of practical works and individual tasks, control and ongoing testing, performance of control tasks
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Assessments for the performance of practical work are given on the basis of determining the correctness, completeness and independence of the solutions obtained for each of the tasks: - the obtained results are correct, complete and obtained independently - 100% of the maximum mark; - the obtained results are correct, complete and obtained with significant help and correction of the teacher - 90% of the maximum mark; - the solutions obtained in the work are correct, but incomplete and obtained with significant help and correction of the teacher - 75% of the maximum mark; - the obtained results contain errors, but the approach to obtaining a decision and the application of tools for obtaining a decision are correct - 50% of the maximum score.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
