Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching is the formation of students' systematized knowledge in the field of modern research of building structures, approbation of the results of research obtained by students on the subject of their master's theses at the student conference, obtaining communication skills during reports and mutual discussions of the results on the topics of master's theses.
Завдання: 1. Ability to solve research and / or innovative problems in the field of construction and civil engineering. 2. Ability to conduct research at an appropriate level 3. Ability to assess and ensure the quality of work performed. 4. Ability to formulate new hypotheses and scientific problems in the field of construction and civil engineering, to choose the appropriate directions and appropriate methods for their solution, taking into account the available resources. 5. Ability to plan and carry out research in the field of construction and civil engineering.
Learning outcomes: 1. Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems of design and construction of industrial and civil facilities, using well-known methods. 2. Systematically think and apply creative abilities to implement advanced and form new ideas in the field of design and construction of industrial and civil buildings. 3. Search for information in various sources, perform the necessary research and apply research skills in solving problems of design and construction of industrial and civil buildings. 4. Combine theory and practice, as well as make decisions to achieve the tasks set, taking into account universal human values, social, state and industrial interests. 5. Critically evaluate the results of activities, draw appropriate conclusions and, if necessary, reasonably defend the decisions made. 6. To use knowledge in practice, to apply methodological tools of knowledge in the field of design and construction of industrial and civil buildings.

Summary of the subject: In the process of studying, students in practical classes write essays on the topics of their own research, prepare a presentation and report at the seminar and at the student scientific and technical conference. At the seminars, they listen to and discuss reports in accordance with the main directions of scientific research in the field of construction technology.

Evaluation of the reliability of reinforced concrete beams reinforced under load. Topic 4. Monitoring the technical condition of special structures. Topic 5. Strength and deformability of multilayer glass plates. Topic 6. Strength and deformability of multilayer center-compressed glass columns. Topic 7. Reconstruction of special structures of the mine surface. Topic 8. The effectiveness of the use of reinforced concrete frames with girderless ceilings. Topic 9. Monitoring of dynamic loads of mining and technical structures. Topic 10. Study of the stress-strain state of spatial lamellar structures
Assessment methods and criteria: Lectures and practical classes: information and receptive method; reproductive method; heuristic method; method of problem presentation. Independent work: reproductive method.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control is evaluated on two components: the implementation of the abstract in accordance with the requirements (15 points), oral defense of the abstract (15 points). Scoring control includes 2 stages: written control (40 points) and oral questioning (30 points).
