Завдання: INT, ZK03. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis.
SK09. The ability to use the characteristics of ventilation and heating systems, to assess the compliance of these systems with fire safety requirements.
SK11. The ability to assess the fire safety characteristics of construction materials and structures, buildings and structures and to control compliance with fire safety requirements during construction work.
SK19. Ability to read and execute sketches and drawings, use computer graphics in the field of professional activity.
KSP 101. Ability to develop measures to ensure fire safety of buildings and structures of industrial and civil purpose, including using modern software complexes.
KSP 102. Ability to ensure fire safety of buildings and engineering structures of various architectural and technical complexity using modern construction materials, energy-efficient technologies, and solutions.
Learning outcomes: PH02. To have the culture of thinking, the technology of mastering social experience.
PH10. Classify heating and ventilation systems and justify them
appointment; evaluate technical solutions for the arrangement of local and emergency ventilation systems, recommend the need for use, types and constructive execution of smoke removal systems.
PH11. Assess the fire hazard of electrical installations during their installation and operation, be able to propose measures to ensure their fire safety, assess the fire hazard of lightning and provide protection against it.
PH12. Make a conclusion regarding the use of building materials and structures in buildings and structures; to analyze the compliance of the constructive execution of fire barriers in buildings and structures with the requirements of building regulations.
PRS103. Ensure fire safety of buildings and engineering structures of various architectural and technical complexity using modern energy-efficient construction materials, technologies, and systems.
PRS104. Apply the base of modern technologies when designing organizational and technological solutions to ensure fire safety of buildings and structures and be able to implement them in practical activities.

Summary of the subject: Structural elements of buildings and structures and the main principles for their calculation, basic principles of calculation of building structures and soil bases for buildings and structures, loads and influences, basic principles for the calculation of building structures for two groups of limit states, general information about steel structures and materials for them, calculation of elements under conditions of various force influences, elements that are loaded with axial force, bending elements, eccentrically stretched elements, bolted and electro-welded joints in steel structures, general information about reinforced concrete structures and their elements, materials for reinforced concrete structures: concrete and its physical and mechanical properties, types of reinforcement for reinforced concrete structures, grades of reinforcing steels: soft and hard steel, strength and deformable characteristics of reinforcing steels, reinforced concrete and its properties, basics of the theory of calculation of reinforced concrete structures, calculation of normal and inclined sections of bent reinforced concrete elements of rectangular and T-shaped profile with single reinforcement.
