Мета вивчення дисципліни: Preparation of a specialist for production-technological, organizational-management, design and research work during the construction and operation of water supply and drainage facilities and systems.
Завдання: INT. The ability to solve problems of a research and/or innovative nature in the field of construction and civil engineering. SK01. Ability to integrate knowledge from other fields and specialized conceptual knowledge in construction and civil engineering, combined with compliance with applicable regulations, to solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts. SK03. Ability to develop and implement projects in the field of construction and civil engineering. SCP 1.3. The ability to organize maintenance of the equipment of explosives systems (water intakes, main and distribution water pipes, treatment facilities, sanitary equipment) during their operation by the customer; SCP 1.4. The ability to achieve competitiveness through the introduction of modern, efficient equipment into explosives systems with simultaneous optimization of the price factor.
Learning outcomes: PH02. Make effective design and technical decisions, taking into account the features of the construction object, aspects of social and ethical responsibility, technical and economic justification, determination of the optimal mode of its operation and implementation of resource and energy saving measures. Summary of the subject: The objects of water management and environmental protection facilities include: municipal and agricultural water supply, reservoirs; irrigation systems, drainage systems and their hydrotechnical structures; hydrotechnical structures of large technical water supply systems of industrial and energy enterprises, structures, embankments of rivers, water management of hydroelectric power plants, etc. The purpose of teaching the course is the theoretical and practical preparation of students for the technical operation of water management and nature protection facilities.

General requirements for water supply and drainage systems (WW). The structure of enterprises operating explosives systems, requirements for operating personnel and their duties. Operation of water supply and drainage systems. Basic operational and technical documentation, requirements for its management. Planning of repairs of ViV systems. Water intake facilities. Tasks and main requirements of regulatory documents. Reservoirs and water towers. The scope of operational control and the necessary technical equipment of tanks and towers. Periodicity of inspection and repair of tanks and towers. Operation of the water supply network. Organization of operation and control of the technical condition of external water supply and distribution systems. Current and capital repairs. Elimination of accidents. Commissioning and water pipe insertions. Accounting for water consumption and estimation of water losses. Accounting for water withdrawal from water supply sources, volumes of water supply and sale.
