Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:
general competences:
• ability to analyze and synthesize (KZ4);
• ability to apply knowledge in practice (KZ5);
• the ability to search and analyze information from various sources (KZ6);
• the ability to solve tasks and make appropriate decisions (KZ9);
• potential for further training (KZ15);
professional competences:
• basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods, necessary for understanding the principles of operation and functional purpose of electric power, electrotechnical and electromechanical systems and their equipment (CS1);
• ability to apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of disciplines of other engineering branches (CS7);
• the ability to use knowledge and skills for calculation, research, selection, implementation, repair and design of electric power, electrotechnical and electromechanical systems and their components (CS11);
• the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized problems, critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the adopted solutions (KS15).
Learning outcomes: • knowledge of the current state and trends of development, the most important developments, the latest methods in the field of technology for designing electric power distribution systems (EPDS) of industrial and civil facilities with distributed sources of electricity.
• knowledge of the scientific and mathematical principles necessary for solving engineering problems and performing research during the design of an EPDS with distributed sources of electricity;
• understanding the perspective of using modern EPDS design technology for an industrial or civil facility, the ability to assess their economic effect and social significance.
• the ability to apply EPDS design technology during the development of engineering projects of power supply systems of industrial and civil facilities with distributed sources of electricity, to apply the acquired knowledge and practical skills, to adapt the results of scientific research during the creation of new and reconstruction of existing EPDS;
• the ability to search, analyze and critically evaluate information on the latest achievements in the field of design technology of EPDS with distributed sources of electricity, critically evaluate the main technical and economic indicators of the functioning of the designed power supply systems and their equipment.
• the ability to independently propose a functional scheme of the EPDS with distributed sources of electricity, to develop optimal design solutions and to propose a strategy of activity for solving issues of energy saving of the EPDS.

Summary of the subject: Basic requirements to project of electric power distribution systems (EPDS) of general purpose. Principles of designing general purpose EPDS. Stages and phases of design EPDS of general purpose. Design algorithm of general purpose EPDS of industrial objects. General principles of designing schemes of external and internal power supply of industrial objects. Methods of technical and economic analysis intended for the design of the general purpose EPDS. The structure and content of the documentation of the EPDS project of the industrial facility.

Algorithm for designing EPDS of industrial objects.
Composition and sequence of development of project documentation in accordance with SPDB and DBN.
The principles of technical and economic analysis during the design of EPDS according to the recommendations of UNIDO, GKD, GND and TNP.
Determining the effectiveness of investments from transmission and sale of electricity using the method of discounted costs.
Hierarchical EPS model for determining estimated electrical loads. Methods of determining estimated electrical loads.
Selection of the optimal cross-section and voltage of overhead and cable lines of the external power supply scheme using unconditional optimization methods.
General principles of designing the internal power supply of objects.
Selection of the number and power of transformers and compensating UPS statutes for the internal power supply scheme. The selection of the number and power of transformers of GZP and PGV.
Selection of cross-sections of cables and current-carrying elements of EPDS with a voltage higher than 1000 V.
General principles of designing a workshop power supply scheme. Selection of cross-sections of busbars, cables and wires with a voltage of up to 1000 V.
Choosing the optimal place for installation of TP and RP with the use of unconditional and conditional optimization methods.
Optimum distribution of CU in EPDS schemes of internal and workshop power supply.
Selection of means to ensure voltage quality indicators according to DSTU.
Selection of means of protection of EPS elements against lightning and internal overvoltages.
General principles of designing relay protection of EPDS elements.
The choice of structural performance of EPDS elements. The structure and composition of the working documentation of the EPDS project of the industrial object
Assessment methods and criteria: • a written report of laboratory and design works, oral (30%);
• final control – exam: writing-oral form (70%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Points and their corresponding assessments of the actual level of achievement of the program learning outcomes are formed based on the results of current and credit controls by taking into account the assessment of the completeness and quality of the performance of mandatory individual works, the results of testing conducted with the help of an electronic educational and methodological complex placed in a virtual learning environment Lviv Polytechnic National University, and an oral survey. The procedure and criteria for assigning points and grades are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Standard of Higher Education of the Higher Education Ministry of Ukraine 03.10. Order No. 27-1-10 of January 23, 2019."
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
