Завдання: Tasks of the academic discipline in accordance with the educational program
The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:
general competences:
• ability to apply knowledge in practical situations.
• ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources.
• ability to work independently and in a team.
special professional competences:
• the ability to research, classify and analyze indicators of the quality of chemical products, technological processes and equipment of chemical production.
specialized - professional competences
• the ability to use professional knowledge and practical skills to control and manage the technological processes of obtaining and using organic substances.
• ability to critically analyze existing chemical and technological processes and develop innovative technologies of organic substances.
Learning outcomes: • know the chemical-technological system (CTS) in organic synthesis;
• know key performance indicators by which to assess the activities of all CTS;
• to know the main technological and economic criteria for evaluating the efficiency of chemical-technological processes (CTP) ;
• know the main characteristics of the methods of optimization of chemical-technological processes;
• know the mathematical models of chemical reactors, which are used;
• to be able to calculate the impact of output parameters on selectivity and yield in complex reactions;
• to be able to investigate and to optimize the equilibrium processes
• to be able to simulate and optimize chemical processes with the use of the software.

Опис: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
• know chemical and technological systems (CTS) in organic synthesis;
• know the main performance indicators by which the activity of any HTS is evaluated;
• to know the main technological and economic criteria for the evaluation of the effectiveness of chemical-technological processes (CTP);
• know the main characteristics of methods of optimization of chemical and technological processes;
• know the mathematical models of chemical reactors that are used;
• be able to calculate the effect of initial parameters on selectivity and yield in complex reactions;
• be able to investigate and optimize equilibrium processes
• be able to model and optimize chemical-technological processes using a software product.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control – control work, individual practical work - 40 points.
• final control – written-oral form - 60 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control is carried out during lectures and practical classes in order to check the level of assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of the student. PC is conducted in the form of: written and oral control and defense of laboratory work.
Semester control is conducted in the form of an exam (EC). The exam is a form of SC of the results of the student's studies in the academic discipline for the semester.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
