Мета вивчення дисципліни: Students' assimilation of modern methods of intensification of chemical-technological processes and systems for their use in the practical activities of the future specialist in the technology of inorganic substances and water purification. Formation of master's knowledge of theoretical foundations and a scientific approach to solving the problems of water purification technologies and the development of new promising water purification technologies, choosing the optimal mode, apparatus and equipment for the purpose of use in practical activities.
Завдання: general: - the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. - the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. professional: - the ability to research, classify and analyze indicators of the quality of chemical products, technological processes and equipment of chemical production; - the ability to use the results of scientific research and R&D to improve existing and/or develop new technologies and equipment for chemical industries.
Learning outcomes: Critically interpret scientific concepts and modern theories of chemical processes and chemical engineering, apply them in conducting scientific research and creating innovations. Search for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes and equipment for the production of chemicals and materials based on them, systematize, analyze and evaluate the relevant information. Communicate freely in national and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss and present the results of professional activities, research and projects. Search for the necessary information in scientific and technical literature, patents, databases, and other sources on chemical technology, processes and equipment for the production of chemical substances and materials based on them, systematize, and analyze and evaluate the relevant information. Clear and unambiguous presentation of one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students.

Summary of the subject: The discipline covers theoretical principles, technological aspects, hardware design for the implementation of modern innovative processes in the technologies of inorganic products and environmental protection, in particular, acoustic, electromagnetic, plasma-chemical, membrane, etc., as well as examples of the application of these processes in real ones technologies. Study and comprehensive assessment of existing and promising technologies water treatment Determination of the most expedient priority ways of water purification and their technological and energy problems. Methods of disposal and disposal of waste water treatment, low-waste and zero-waste technologies.
Опис: Systematic approach to tasks of intensification of СTP. Characteristics of acoustic methods of intensification of СTP. Low-frequency acoustic methods of HTP intensification. High-frequency acoustic methods of intensification of СTP. Characteristics of electromagnetic methods of intensification of СTP. Dischargeless electromagnetic methods of intensification of СTP. Plasmachemical methods of intensification of СTP. Membrane processes. Modern micro-, ultra- and nanofiltration in technology water purification and reverse osmosis. Electrochemical oxidation. Bipolar membrane electrodialysis (BMED). Chemical and electrochemical cleaning methods. Separation in the process of water purification. Adsorption in modern water purification technologies. Theoretical basis of ultraviolet application radiation for disinfection of microorganisms in the driver. Theoretical foundations of the application of ultrasonic cleaning water Cavitation methods of water purification. Membrane bioreactor technology. Non-traditional methods of wastewater treatment. Use of oxidants with physical methods: Advanced Oxidation processes. Analysis of the conformity of Ukrainian innovative advantages promising world scientific and technological directions in the technologies of inorganic substances and water purification.
Assessment methods and criteria: • two verification control tests (30%); • written component (50% exam): oral component (20%).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
